Discussion Is this the lowest we’ve ever been since moving back to Cleveland?
This morning, I simply felt numb and sad. Not angry, not frustrated, just sad and void. I can’t believe that just six years ago, in the middle of the pandemic and true chaos, that team was one of the silver linings I could find once a week. Hollywood Higgins, Juice Landry, Baker….
Today, look at where we are. So my question; is this the lowest this organization and its fanbase has ever felt? And if not, will it be if Deshaun comes out and starts Week 3 at home? I know a sports team shouldn’t be this influential in how my day goes, but wow does it suck to be a Browns fan today.
With that said… see you all next week.

Discussion I want us to lose
For the first time in my life I genuinely want us to lose next week. Not even because its against Baker, but because my hatred for Watson is stronger than my love for this team. Im tired of the Watson era. I want us to get beat so bad by our previous QB, that there is no choice but to bench Watson and put this all behind us.

Discussion Seriously question. How historically ugly is this home opener going to get? Boos the entire game? Bottlegate 2.0?
This is either a powder keg or an empty stadium. Since people have already bought tickets I’m guessing the former.

Discussion So let me get this straight we gave Flacco and Pickett all the first team reps in camp just to trade both and start a rookie 5 weeks into the season.
The Ivy League brain trust strikes again. I wonder would it have been more beneficial to start Gabriel all training camp or did he learn more sitting and watching a shitty Joe Flacco? This team is cooked until Haslam sells.

Discussion [The Dawgs] PFF credits all Browns offensive linemen with allowing ZERO sacks. Deshaun Watson was sacked 5 times, which means PFF is attributing all 5 sacks to the quarterback.

Discussion I took the Garrett canvas down in my man cave.
Against my own policy of not purchasing anything with current players, this was a fixture in my man cave for many years. Today it came down. Good move?
Edit: Thanks for the feedback I put it back up. Note: this wasn’t a move because I didn’t like Myles. It was always going to go back up, I just thought as I was making room for other Browns memorabilia for my watch parties, it would be better back up after retirement.

Discussion QB BATTLE IS OVER (UNPROFESSIONAL)
The immaturity of a veteran who understands the circumstances surrounding his tenure in Cleveland, how this marriage was formed, and how it has gone is disappointing. He clearly knew his play wasn’t good enough today, and I understand that he was playing with backups. But rather than avoid the bait from the media, he chose to fire a shot back at the entire fan base out of frustration.
That’s immature, and it’s not the behavior you expect from a veteran who is supposed to be one of the leaders of the organization. I understand Watson is human, and everyone has a breaking point, but at some point you have to remain focused, professional, and understand the position you’re in.
The Haslams need to intervene. This is not good for the Browns brand, and it’s certainly not the message they want being sent to their fan base when one of their players is essentially calling for 17 away games. It’s also unfair to the rest of the team, who shouldn’t have to operate in an increasingly hostile home environment because of the actions and comments of one player.
Discussion Still no love from the talking heads
I don't know where this season will take us, but this is kind of ridiculous.

Discussion Drove By where the New Stadium will be...WHAT A JOKE
I'm sorry, but it's absolutely pathetic that the New Stadium is being built in Brook Park where it is. I don't care what you think about having a domed stadium etc, the location is absurd. They took it from a DOWNTOWN location, with culture and supporting infrastructure, to put it in the middle of nowhere with ZERO supporting infrastructure.
And I'm sorry, we don't need to be building 1,000 new hotels, restaurants and all this other stuff that's not going to be supported by literally anything outside of 8 football games a year.
Like this white elephant of a stadium is going to be a monument to everything wrong with 2026 American society.

Discussion Is it time to talk Kevin Stefanski and his future in Cleveland?
Listen, I've been a Stefanski supporter for the most part since day ond. And yes, I'm well aware that he doesn't exactly have a whole lot to work with. But that still doesn't excuse the absolute piss poor game management and play calling since the beginning of the season. Completely unacceptable. We're never prepared, in-game adjustments are never made, and we're ridiculously undisciplined. I've heard Kevin say.."it's on me. I have to be better" no joke..on probably 40 separate occasions since he's been here. Well, yup..a lot of this is on you, Kevin.
Is it time for a change?

Discussion If you could choose another team to root for?
If you guys were given the chance to rub a magic lamp and be able to change teams without guilt or judgement, which would it be and why? Obviously don’t choose the browns again😂we all know feel down we could never switch up no matter how much they upset us, but just talking hypothetically. I think I’d personally go Bears, they feel like a team with a bright future, dedicated fans and a history to be at least semi proud of, attached to a cool city

Discussion How to boo Deshaun without alienating the rest of the team?
First off, I think Deshaun deserves every boo, jeer, and “fuck you” that he has coming. He is remorseless and completely detached from reality especially when it comes to living up to the expectations of his contract.
However, how do we do that without the other guys taking it personally or thinking that we’re booing them as well? I don’t want the newer guys thinking that the fans are directing our anger towards them or thinking that Cleveland is a hostile place to play in general.
Thoughts?

Discussion #4 through the first 3 games:
He’s not just been serviceable, he’s been objectively good.
2nd in completion percentage in the NFL
8th in yards per attempt
5 TDs to 1 INT
8th in passer rating
1st in passer rating in the 4th quarter
15th in yards per game
Even more impressively, he has a 73% conversion rate on 3rd and 4th down attempts when he runs or throws.
He is averaging a 112.9 passer rating and 60 rushing yards per game (averaging 5.0 yards per carry) and has been sacked only 7 times (Oline pass protection been great).
It’s super early, but he is bordering on legitimate top 10 QB numbers at the moment.
EDIT*\\**
Question, are we allowed to talk positively ever about Watsons performance? Or is he Voldemort and we’re not allowed to talk about him on the BROWNS subreddit.
Like holy hell guys. I have to imagine this is outside fans, because I actually want to talk about football, positive and negative.
He’s a shitty person, yes.
Is he playing well, yes.
Like what are we even doing here if we can’t talk about football?

Discussion 33 years old and never been so out on this team
Been a season ticket holder since 2014 but me and my dad finally dropped our tix this year. Was pretty bummed at first bc I’ll miss tailgating but after watching week 1 and what we’re all expecting the rest of the year it may just be the best decision I’ve made. It’ll be so nice sitting on my couch, not paying $16 for a beer and watching these dudes get boat raced for 16 more weeks

Discussion Because the Browns have repeatedly restructured Deshaun Watson’s contract to delay cap hits, they are set to have dead cap hits of $34.6 million in 2027 and $51.5 million in 2028 (2nd most dead money in NFL history)
The results of freeing up cap space in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026? So far, going a combined 19-32 (TBD on the 2026 record).
This is total malpractice, right? They have drastically reduced the amount they can spend in 2027-2028, years in which they could hypothetically be playoff contenders with a new QB, to spend more in years in which they clearly didn’t have a starting caliber QB. Yes, I’m aware that the cap will likely increase each year but this dead money will still take out a huge chunk of their cap space.
Did Berry do this because he feared he could lose his job at any point, so he prioritized the short term over the long term?
