Yes of course I know many of these examples were already evil/controversial before losing weight, but I think there is a pattern of controversial behavior or scandal becoming more public after going through a major body transformation into something considered more conventionally attractive

Ethan Klein/h3h3– has gone through several weight fluctuations throughout his life but has been on the thinner side for the last several years, and has also become more ingrained in controversy online

David Harbour— Cheating scandal and harassment allegations coming to light after significant weight loss

Chris Pratt— was at one point a widely loved celebrity but has fallen into many controversies and weird political/religious associations.

Schmidt (New Girl)— needed a fictional example lol, I’ve never seen this show but apparently this character got arrogant and selfish after losing weight

So for context i had opposite situation day before this appointment, where i went for a dentist check up, looking very messy, got miss-ed from the start then they got kinda confused by my voice asked to clarify and they been perfect with the pronouns for an entire visit. So that was interesting contrast

I found out that my brother broke up with his girlfriend for me? Because of me?.. They weren’t together for long, maybe a few weeks. I always stay out of my brothers’ relationships, I just want them to be happy. I would never talk badly about any of the women or be mean to them, even if I don’t really get along with them sometimes. That’s just how it is, not all personalities are compatible.

I casually asked my brother today if his girlfriend was still coming over for dinner later. He very matter-of-factly said no and that he had broken up with her. I was confused and of course asked why. He explained that she had been 'complaining' to him or rather, that she had started talking really badly about me. But also that she had done this quite often before, with other women in his life. He had let her do it, but when she started insulting me, it was too much for him. :/

I know that my brother can obviously decide for himself who he loves and who he wants to be with and that I shouldn’t worry about the things she said. I only met her two or three times, after all!! It means so much to me that my brother is so loyal to me, but my feelings are still so mixed...
