To all the Trumpers, I just got a question. What did y'all get?
🚫 Y'all didn't get a wall.
🚫 You didn't get the swamp drained.
🚫 You didn't get affordable healthcare.
🚫 You didn't get eliminated national—national debt.
🚫 You didn't get a new infrastructure.
🚫 You didn't get Hillary Clinton locked up.
🚫 You didn't get Epstein accountability.
🚫 You didn't get a 5K DOGE check.
🚫 You didn't get the 2K stimulus check. (Background voice: "Man.")
🚫 You didn't get lower grocery prices.
🚫 You didn't get help buying a home or affordable home prices—they're going up.
🚫 You did not get America First
🚫 and you did not get peace; we at war right now.
What the fuck did you get? What did all y'all get? Mister "I'm finna save America" and all—what did y'all get? Y'all didn't get shit.
(Background voice: "Higher groceries.")
Higher groceries. He said the groceries was going down. He said the homes were gonna be more affordable, then he turned around and said, "Oh, you're too lazy to own a home, you don't deserve one. We finna jack the prices up some more."
I'll tell you what they got. They got what Professor Jonathan Metzl calls in his book Dying of Whiteness: they got validation for being white.
This goes back to the Southern strategy, which was designed to ensure that Black, brown, and white low-income people did not work together. It was to convince low-income whites that, "Hey, your life may suck, you may not be able to pay rent, you may not be able to put food on the table or a roof over your head, but at least you're not Black or brown." And that's exactly the strategy being deployed today.
This is why I say to the conservative folks on the right, who are low-income especially: they don't care about you either. They care about you just as much as they care about me or this Black brother here, and that is not at all.
Stop letting them divide you and make you think that your whiteness is something special. It's not. Your humanity is special. That's what we're fighting for. Stop voting for this right-wing fascist; start voting for your own self-interest, and that is to ensure you have meaningful healthcare, you have food on the table, you have roof over your head. That's how we form a more perfect union.

This painting is titled ‘caught red handed’ and it represents society’s expectations on women’s body image.
In my life I’ve been on different ends of the scale and guess what, initially, I never noticed the changes but other people did and after that was pointed out, things were never the same. One moment you're too fat, the next you're looking malnourished, and the next your waist is not small enough-the opinions are always inconsistent, but what remains the same are the ever growing expectations, or views of others on how you should look like. As kids we would walk around with our bellies out and we didn't have a care in the world but somewhere along the way, we needed to fit into a certain image to please others. Bodies change and bodies come in different sizes but what is needed in this world is not the conformity to a beauty standard but acceptance that we are all different and the differences are what make us beautiful. It is up to us to change the narrative and say 'to hell with the expectations of an outdated system because we rise against these ridiculous expectations and forge a new path--one of love and and one of acceptance!

Can't be reasoned with, can't be educated because they have nothing in their heads but a swarm of gnats and they will flood your ears with stupidity until you're in the same boat. At least she somewhat admitted the truth in the end... "I'm not that educated... but I'm still going to be a republican"

The original organizers of the Target boycott say it never ended. Despite announcements from other leaders declaring victory, Target has not reversed its DEI rollback.
Some consumers have permanently moved their spending elsewhere, supporting local businesses instead.

Talking about something instinctual. You can't quite put your finger on why it's racist. You just know from growing up black in America.
Let's discuss.

This photo is actually incredible and all 4 boys managed to beat the odds.
The photo depicts a group of 4 boys on their last day at school (shirt signing day).
At the bottom is Marcus Rashford he would end up playing for Man united but is currently on loan to Barcelona. He represents England internationally. He received free school meals because his family was poor.
To the right is Axel Tuanzeb. Who plays in France for AJ Auxerre. He also competes for his country DR Congo.
The middle is Jimmy Dunne: who is the captain for Championship side QPR who are in the championship (the 2nd tier of English football).
The left is Tosin Kehinde: who plays in Turkey for Bandirmaspor.
To play football for any top European club your chances are 0.3% - 0.5%. This is because not only do you have to be the best in your area you have to be one of the best in the world to get a contract and graduate from an academy.
Also clubs will utilise a quantity approach to talent ID in other words they will select lots of boys and maybe only choose 2 or 3 of them depending on the clubs strategy.
The percentages improve if you are able to play in the lower leagues between 4-6% .
So this photo is a miracle.
