Here's a look at how I ink my comic pages traditionally, bringing the shadows and darker atmosphere of the story to life.

THE ESTRANGED is an independent sapphic horror thriller written by Jason McNamara, illustrated by me, Matthieu Pereira, and colored by Dave Kemp.

It's available right now on Kickstarter!

What do you think of the traditional inking process?

Watching BTAS. Old school Harley has the best design to me.

The first picture is an update of my previous drawing (second) I took note on several tips and advice to make it look better.

I basically had to re-draw (SketchUp) the arms and then paste them on top of the old picture and a similar thing for the chest and abdomen. I also cleaned it up and used a little help from an AI tool to improve the quality and resolution because at this point, the picture was really messed up.

So, what do you think? Is it an improvement or not really?

Opening page (flashback scene) from my original comic "Death to All Slashers". All artwork and story by me. Currently, it's only available in Poland but you can read free online version on Webtoon: https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/death-to-all-slashers/list?title_no=994349

Just finished up this painting on my iPad using Procreate and the new watercolor brush pack from True Grit texture supply. Hope you enjoy it!

If you love zombies stories that heavily focused on the early stage of the outbreak, then Flesh and Blood may be for you. The story follows Jack Brody who returned home after finishing his duties overseas, only to face the dead returning back to life and attack the living.

Work in progress, The Vision. I wanted to draw a more classic style Vision, I thought it could look cool as a realism piece in graphite pencils, I’ve always been influenced by Alex Ross when it comes to comic art and I think it’ll definitely show in this piece. 🤘 😃

Graphite pencils, Mars Lumograph & Polychromos Black, on Bristol Smooth A3.

This sketch cover matches the pose from this other Reddit post but is not a perfect 1:1 match. I came across this sketch cover in a collection I bought and was wondering what its story might be and who the red signature is from. Thanks!
