• Russian Bots tried to skew our polls in 2016; 2020 and 2024. Most of their meddling favored Donald Trump.  (FBI; DOJ; Brennen Center for Justice; NPR).
• It is common practice for these Bots, to inflate lead margins, for a particular party or candidate. The objective is to push a narrative, that a lead is insurmountable, & that victory is guaranteed. It is intended to create a false sense of complacency, & influence voter turnout.
• Russian operatives have already stepped-up interference in our November midterms, to favor Republicans (NPR 10/24/26).
• The Russians tried the same tricks in Hungary, to favor of Victor Orban, earlier this year. Almost 81% of the electorate showed up, to vote & Victor Orban lost, in a landslide. This was despite all the Russian interference & open support from Putin; Donald Trump; JD Vance (who actually campaigned for Orban), & some in the US Republican party.
• Only 48.1% of voters showed up in our 2018 midterms. It was still the highest voter turnout, for a midterm, since 1918. The Democrats flipped 40 House seats – 30 in States that Trump won.
