The City - BLAME! - The city is a continuously expanding megaconstruct that takes up the space of nearly the entire solar system. At one point, a character walks into a vast, empty, room, which is stated to be where Jupiter used to be.
Piranesi - The House - The house is a massive structure, with corridors filled with endless marble statues. The bottom floors are filled with a sea that roils and flows through the building, and the top floors have clouds that thunder and rain. Windows look out upon endless courtyards, always with neat, straight sides. The main character has traveled as far as 960 halls to the west, 890 halls to the north, and 768 halls to the south.
A Short Stay in Hell - Hell - In this short story, Hell is the Library of Babel, as first proposed by Jorge Luis Borges. People in hell must find a specific book that documents every single part of their life. The library of Babel holds every single thing that could ever be written using the 25 basic characters. Every book has 410 pages, 40 lines per page, and 80 characters per line. The books are on shelves in sections, with each section being 200 feet long. The total size of the library is 7.11 x 10^1,297,369 square light years. To put this into comparison, if you divided it by the size of our universe, it would be 7.11 x 10^1,297,358 square light years. The time to fall from the top to the bottom of the library would be 3.9 x 10^1,297,365 x the age of the universe.
House of Leaves - The House - Will Navidson’s house is 1/4 larger on the inside than it is on the outside. As he investigates, he discovers a mysterious hallway that leads into another dimension. It’s nearly pitch black, with cavernous domes, claustrophobic hallways, and staircases descending for miles. Later on in the story, when Will gets lost, he ends up exploring for hundreds and hundreds of miles, finding nothing but endless geometry.
