I'm going to go to Michael's when I get paid next week but if I can just get it online that would be nicer.

I am looking for help identifying my new favorite yarn. It worked up so smoothly, and it did not split. It's a softer yarn, and I know it's a vintage piece, unfortunately since I got it second hand from an elder without a label. It's too consistent to be a handmade item, and I think it's acrylic? I could be wrong. It's a vivid color piece with only purple, red, teal, and golden yellow. The colors change pretty often, too. I had enough for what I wanted, but it was a dream to work with and would love to either have more or find a similar style yarn.

I need 1-3 skeins of Hobby Lobbys I love this cotton yarn in the color aubergine dye lots don't matter.

1 skein will finish my project in a smaller size than anticipated and 3 will make it the size I planned ( poorly). Even scraps/ partials will help ❤️

I'm looking for undyed wool yarn in larger quantities for a long-term project. I've checked the usual yarn shops and a few online retailers, and I even spent some time browsing Alibaba to see if there were suppliers selling smaller wholesale amounts, but it's hard to tell what's actually good quality.

Has anyone here bought undyed yarn in bulk from a place you'd recommend, or know of a retailer that carries larger quantities without having to place a huge commercial order? I'd rather buy from somewhere people have actually had good experiences with

My mum got this for me from a thrift store, no label of course. I've started making a blanket with it and I like how it's looking but I finished the skein and it's just not big enough. I could use scrap yarn in similar colours but I would really like to continue with this yarn. I've tried reverse image searching. Nothing. Im looking for a yarn that I can use in place of Copley Mohair Elegance for a vintage pattern. Obviously-- the yarn is discontinued and there is little information about the weight/ yardage of the yarn so I'm curious if anyone knows anything about that yarn or might be able to identify based on the image what size of yarn might work well.

The pattern uses 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm needles when working with the Copley if that helps at all.
