I've put in my vote in the mod chat already and am posting this publicly to voice my opinion further.

The truth of the reason behind the rule is that the other mods are just tired of the long ass report queue that follows every Claire-related post. Lots of transphobic comments get reported and the other mods are just too tired to deal with it anymore. Reasonable to a degree, but also you can't just ban talking about a trans person because of transphobes.

Take the same concept but change the context- it's the same as banning talking about gay people because of homophobes, or banning talking about black people because of racists.

It's ridiculous, you can't just do that.

Might get removed as a mod for this post but oh well. It eez wot it eez.

I’m glad this is being officially implemented in the game. The first time I saw Jackie using two pistols, I thought, "Damn, that’s so cool"—but our V couldn’t do that.

I’ve been really happy using the Real Dual Wielding mod (which I’ve had installed for a few weeks now), and I’m having a blast with it; you can wield two shotguns, two submachine guns, or even different weapons in each hand.

I’m curious to see how CD Projekt will make this work.

This is honestly more of a question, but I wondered if Biotechnica and Militech would try to create their own Smasher. This idea popped up to me after the discussion if Smasher is dead in Edgerunners 2 because of some endings in the game. So my question is if Biotechnica and Militech would try to create one now to have their own boogeyman. I know that there are things that made Smasher special in terms of cyberpsychosis, but I still think they would try.

Edit: Okay I should've specified. I know Smasher is a psycho and a special little falling star. My question was more like if the companies would try to do it again in hopes to get another one like Smasher, or in the case of Biotechnica, genetically engineer one.

As much as I am excited for GTA 6, the collection is as compared to cyberpunk 2077

Let’s be honest, none of us who actually give a shit about art and understand the message the game is sending want to see that slop plastered all over our feeds.

Request to the mods to ban posts involving DLSS 5 going forward, and actually preserve the art of Cyberpunk 2077 and not let it get ruined by worthless A.I. trash.

Also why almost everyone in this thread has like +200 mods?

I mean, even when scanning bosses, you only see probably one to four implants. Like subdermal armor, charge jump, mantis blades etc etc.

But imagine yourself as an average gangoon, and you scan this dude/lady and see like 10+ implants and occasionally acts weird like staring at a random wall (when talking to johnny) then wipes out you and your friends in a whirlwind of guts or make their insides go outside (netrunner build).

That would be such a terrifying scan. Especially when V looks like this.

If cyberware became real tomorrow, I don’t think I’d go for weapons or super strength.

I’d probably choose something simple like perfect eyesight, instant language translation, or never feeling tired again.

What would be the first implant you’d actually pay for, assuming it costs about as much as a flagship smartphone?

And is there any implant you’d never get, no matter how useful it was?

Seen so much disrespect thrown towards Gavin Drea's performance as Male V in Cyberpunk 2077 and I just don't get it, he was fantastic!
He does an amazing job in Phantom Liberty and I think his performance has so much range. Stick with him on a campaign and you may hear it too.

5. She’s also an accomplished musician, she can play Nocturne Op. 55 No.1 on the piano.

6. She loves her family dearly so being part of it is a massive win.

7. She remains completely calm under extreme pressure. Remember when V and Takemura literally kidnap her? Most people would understandably be freaked out Hanako on the other hand? Completely composed.

8. She’s a strategic genius. She knows exactly how to utilize V, Takemura, and the Arasaka board to outmaneuver her brother Yorinobu and reclaim her empire

9. She’s a Pisces (born March 2nd).

10. Last but not least. SHE HAS BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR V AT EMBERS FOR SIX YEARS!!!. This is the biggest one; think about it, for SIX WHOLE YEARS, Hanako has been sitting at embers waiting for V. She never complained, never called, she never sent a text asking where you were. And that's because she understands that V has countless gigs, NCPD scanner hustles, side quests and cyberpsychos to deal with.

For everyone who has played Cyberpunk 2077 and its DLCs: I’d like to know if it lives up to what was promised in the 48-minute gameplay trailer. I know the game is good now—especially after its rocky launch—but I’m still not sure if it currently delivers on the original promises that generated such massive hype.
