The infamous system data bug is reportedly finally patched! Crazy how it went this long without being addressed.

I'm one of those who installed the iOS 27 DB1 on my iPhone
17PM. Love this DB1 expect that I was constantly having issues with WiFi disconnecting every 15~30mins. I performed a "reset network settings" under
Settings> General›reset iPhone and so far the WiFi hasn't disconnected!

Note: Resetting network settings erases all your Wi-Fi networks and WiFi passwords.

Edit#1: It’s been 24 hours since I reset my network and have had zero disconnections.

Edit#2: Looks like this “fix” works for some and for some it doesn’t. The feedback I left for this issue has been updated with a note that says “Potential fix identified - For a future OS update”. Hoping this is fixed with DB2, next week.

Looks like Apple might’ve finally changed the image processing pipeline in iOS 26 Public Beta (23A5330a) on my iPhone 16 Pro. I noticed it yesterday in the default camera app, and after testing today I can confirm photos aren’t getting that overly processed look anymore.

Really hoping this isn’t just a bug but an actual fix. Would be amazing if they keep tweaking the pipeline/settings in future iOS 26 updates. Honestly, I’m super happy about this, after years of over processing and ruining photos despite having really good mobile camera hardware, I can finally enjoy using the default camera app again!

If anyone else is running the latest iOS 26 Beta on an iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max and disliked the post processing quality on iOS 18, let me know if you’re seeing the same improvements. Would love to hear if others can confirm the change!

TL;DR: On iOS 26 Public Beta (23A5330a) with iPhone 16 Pro, photos no longer look overly processed in the default camera app. Finally feels like Apple fixed the pipeline, hoping it sticks!

All you need to do is offload the Apple Music app, then reinstall it from the App Store. You’ll get your Now Playing Activity right back. It’s that simple!

this most likely already was in DB1, but i haven’t seen anyone posting about it. i remember during WWDC, file transfer speed improvements were mentioned.

in iOS 26 copying from an external drive or sd card used to be incredibly slow and buggy even on USB 3.1.

now i’m seeing full ~300MB/s from my old external SSD (which matches the speeds when i get with my Mac). i tested both big single files and big directories with thousands of RAW+JPEGs, and it showed the same speed and stability improvements.

even SMB over WiFi is now pulling ~40MB/s (or ~330mbps), whereas it used to bug out and fail before, or just super slow.

After 14 months, shared element transitions are fixed. The shared element no longer lags behind the rest of the grid when you quickly scroll a list after exiting.

On iOS 26.4 DB1 - there was a bug that stuck that prevented Wi-Fi 7 based iPhones (iPhone 17, 17 pro, air, 16 pro, 16) to connect to Wi-Fi 7 and instead use the Wi-Fi 6E protocol.

It has been fixed in 26.5 DB 1

It’s finally back! In beta five if I woke up before my alarm, I didn’t get the option to disable it, however that now appears to be fixed

StandBy mode color and gradient customization options have returned with iOS 18 DB1.

Spotlight search now members what you have last searched and will retain it when you return.

Previously in iOS 27 DB3 search would reset each time you invoke it.

Hello everyone! Seems like Apple has fixed the bug where no matter what method you try to implement, you just could not download any new apps from App Store.

There is one distinct thing I ensured this time around - keep region and languages all in English + whatever country you are in right now. E.g.

- Device region - English India

- Siri language & region - English India

- App store region - India

- All other devices linked to my Apple ID - English India

Last time I updated to 27.2 DB2 was when I set my device to English US to try the new Health app, and ended up confusing Apple servers when authenticating the updated OS version on first boot. Just fyi.

The bug reverting the screenshot crop has been fixed in the second beta!

Apple seems to have fixed the issue with Flyover for cities that haven’t been upgraded yet. Cities that haven’t been updated will now render in the old Flyover rendering style, before they just wouldn’t render in 3D at all.
