KSP 1 Image/Video [Stock] Spade Fleet
On pic 4, from left to right-
W.V4L (Two Seater Civilian)
WA.V4L (Two Seater Military)
WA.V4 Bomber
W.V4 (Original)
W.V4 SL12 (Big)
W.V4M3 (SSTO)
W.V4 and W.V4 SL12 can fly without SAS!
The idea was to sprinkle in WW2 fighter design philosophies onto futuristic aircraft design. Sticks jutting out from behind in WA.V4L and WA.V4 Bomber are backward facing cannons lol.
My dad watched one of the first iterations flip upsisde down and crash immediately after takeoff and said sci-fi designs don't work irl and how this design will never fly. This post and people being condescending toward the OP reminded me of that, and then this fleet. I built it during the pandemic but never posted. Thought I'd post.

KSP 1 Image/Video Little lunar probe
I recently started a new save with a rocket design philosophy in mind: "The simplest and easiest way is the best way to do something," and so this is the first lunar probe to land successfully.
The engines are from the Cryogenic Engines mod, and I'm using the "unkerballed" start; I like the progression of their tech tree.

KSP 1 Suggestion/Discussion What pc parts should different types of players prioritize?
Some of the player types are:
The 900 parts guy
The obsessed with parts mods
The obsessed with visual mods
The obsessed with planet mods(RSS, Kcalbeloh...)
The gameplay mods psychopath (FAR, Principia...)
The modder
The stock player (☠️🔥)
Any other type of player you know

KSP 1 Image/Video Tried Rescuing a Kerbal, He Died Horrifically

Took a contract to save Edtop Kerman from low orbit. I obstructed the hatch accidentally with the parachute (these pea pods are so confusing), so I had the genius idea to tether his pod to my rocket and de-orbit it with a gentle burn. Then I would either parachute both of us or use his personal chute if necessary.
Well, I accidentally hit max throttle after I had already gotten a good re-entry and I guess that broke the tether. I urgently tried to rendezvous again and got Edtop out of the pod to connect to Valentina's.
...Then they both hit the upper atmosphere and started tumbling, and Edtop was attached to his pod (which I was trying to reel in) being swung in circles faster and faster until he went unconscious and burnt to death during re-entry. At least he wasn't awake to experience it.
Honestly I was so pissed off during this experience but as soon as Valentina splashed down I started laughing out loud. It was the most absurd death I've ever had in this game. I wish I had a video of it!

From over 800 images that have been processed, I present the Voyager 2 Encounters simulated in Sol from Ballisticfox.
This video includes both Jupiter and Saturn with the Encounters happening at relatively the correct time in Realism Overhaul.
I performed the correct trajectory using the Titan IIIE Centaur with the Star 37E Kick Motor from BDB.
Midcourse Corrections were made with the tiny Hydrazine thrusters that the probe has, also courtesy of US_Probes mod.

KSP 1 Image/Video First Luna Landing
I present to you my very first Luna landing :]
After many hours of learning orbital mechanics (rather than learning for university) and two rover missions to Duna, and three rover missions to the Mun, I finally decided to attempt my first crewed Luna mission. And somehow, it went flawlessly on the very first try!

I just recently made a rocket that I was able to manually land the booster from. Now I'm going to attempt to automate that, so I'm learning kOS.

Would also love help to make it work lol, but for now its just a showpiece i cheat into the sky to take photos. It can VTOL, but looses control after 5 seconds.

KSP 1 Image/Video Building up Duna orbital station
Following up on my post from yesterday, the first extension of the Duna orbital station is complete! This includes the lab and some solar panels, and a docking hub.
Droneship that delivered it has successfully splash landed back on Kerbin after completing the round-trip in around 3 years, and now awaits further missions.
