Summary
It was a slow burn kind of match, and Vancouver showed exactly why they’re in the “future champs” conversation dominating possession and dictating the tempo. The first half ended in a pretty uneventful 0-0, with the Galaxy mostly absorbing pressure and waiting for a moment.
That moment came thanks to Lucas Sanabria, who’s quietly been in great form. He read the pass perfectly, jumped the lane for the interception, sold a little contact for flavor, and slipped it over to Joseph Paintsil. Paintsil did the rest with an absolute rocket finish to put the Galaxy up 1-0.
From there, it really felt like the Galaxy might secure all three points. JT Marcinkowski came up big with a few clutch saves, and the defense held its shape for long stretches. But Vancouver kept knocking, and eventually it paid off. Mathías Laborda found the equalizer in the 81st minute to make it 1-1.
In the end, it’s a hard fought draw against the 2nd seed in the West. Not a statement win, but not a collapse either. The Galaxy's are set to face off against Atlanta United next Saturday.
What’d you think of the game?

Cali Clásico didn't disappoint! It wasn't exactly a goal scoring festival, but there were plenty of suspenseful moments to keep fans on the edge of our seats.
The Galaxy did a much better job creating chances and getting shots on target compared to last weekend in Houston. They finished with 7 shots on goal, while San Jose had 5.
Chucky Lozano also showed that last weekend wasn't a fluke. He looked dangerous and continues to show that he can be a huge addition for the Gz.
Unfortunately, Lucas Sanabria picked up his second yellow right before halftime, forcing the Galaxy to play the entire second half a man down.
JT Marcinkowski came up huge with some incredible saves to keep the Galaxy in the game, and just when it looked like we were headed for another frustrating draw, Joseph Paintsil finally found the back of the net in the 79th minute to give the Galaxy a 1-0 lead. What did you think of the game?

Summary
The LA Galaxy finally cracked the seal on 2026 with a statement win, bulldozing Charlotte FC 3–0 in front of their home crowd. First win of the season. First brace in a Galaxy shirt. First time all year it felt like everything actually clicked at the same time.
It started with Lucas Sanabria, who capped off a smooth, patient team buildup for his first goal of the season. The move had layers of quick passing, smart movement, and it set the tone. The Galaxy weren’t just attacking, they were orchestrating. Then the Gs said, “Run it back.”
Edwin Cerrillo hit a cross field laser absolute pink-slip energy that found Super Saiyan Miki Yamane in space. Yamane baited the defender, slipped it inside to Gabriel ImPECable, and Pec delivered a perfectly weighted ball to Dejan Joveljić. sorry, scratch that. to Kévin Cabral? Nah breh. This was all João Santa Klauss energy. Santa Klauss finished with authority to make it 2–0, and just like that, Charlotte knew: THIS IS BRAZIL.
Before the half closed, Klauss delivered again, a clinical second finish for his first brace as a Galaxy player. 3–0. Halftime. Game flipped.
Defensively, it was grown-man soccer. The back line snuffed out transitions, Cerrillo shielded everything in front of him, and Yamane was a two-way menace all night. The press was coordinated. The spacing made sense. The belief? Set for sept.
Even without adding to the scoreline in the second half, the Galaxy kept creating, probing, rotating, and forcing saves. It wasn’t desperate. It was composed.
The Galaxy close the month undefeated and suddenly look like a team that understands the assignment this year. Next up: Colorado Rapids at altitude, where the air is thin and the margins are thinner. What did you think of the game? Gz up!

Summary
Tough loss. Game looked even. The Galaxy had a heavily rotated squad, but should have still had enough quality to compete and give its fans a win at home. Dejan had other plans and scored right before the half started. The Galaxy were down 0-1 at half time. Coming out of half time, it seemed like the Galaxy made some adjustments, but SKC found ways to score, and their newest signing scored in the 74th minute. The Galaxy started to pick up the pace, and it paid off with Marco Reus scoring. However, there wasn't enough time despite 7 extra minutes added, and the Galaxy lose 1-2. The Galaxy need to regroup as they have another match next week and a road game at Portland. What did you think of the game?

Summary
What a rollercoaster of a game. CF Montreal struck first with a goal from Daniel Rios, but the LA Galaxy had an answer to it, and Ruben Ramos scored a few minutes after to tie it up. The Galaxy had plenty of chances and former Galaxy player Jalen Neal did a good job denying the Galaxy some goal opportunities as both sides were 1-1 at half time.
Second half, Maya Yoshida had a surprising back heel goal to put the Galaxy up 2-1. It was looking like the Galaxywere going to rack up their second win of the season until all hell broke loose and JT Marcinkowski received a red card, and the Galaxy were playing down a man for the final 30 minutes of the game. CF Montreal capitalized and scored in the 78th minute, and the Galaxy ended up splitting the points. The Galaxy's next game is against San Diego next weekend. What did you think of the game?

Summary
Cali Clásico didn't disappoint. Despite the lowscoring affair, the Galaxy looked much sharper than they have over the past few games. Paintsil had several dangerous chances and gave the Galaxy a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute.
San Jose kept things interesting by equalizing in the 62nd minute. Late in the match, the Earthquakes were awarded a penalty, but Galaxy goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski, a former San Jose player, came up with a huge save to preserve the draw.
A win would have been better, but earning a point on the road is always valuable. What did you think of the game?

Summary
What a game. You weren't sure if you were watching soccer or football with the amount of chippyness that was involved. Pregame, someone must have said hot cheetos were ass, and that's when the chippyness began. Plenty of fouls and goals. Peter Musas capitalized on the Galaxy's mistake, and was hungry for goals. Galaxy stayed composed and were able to match his output as it was a 2-2 draw at half. Plenty of chances in the second half, but no one scored, and it ended in a 2-2 draw. Joao Santa Klauss came off the game with an injury, so packages may be delayed for a while. What did you think of the game?
