[Shelburne] (Jeanie) Buss even showed that paperwork to (Luka) Doncic and his team, his manager Lara Beth Seager said, to reassure them that she would still have final say over his basketball future... Iger reaffirmed his commitment to Jeanie to maintain a role after the sale closes when they met

Lakers are 1 in ORTG (125.9) and 1 in PPG (128) in spite of being last in offensive rebounding (7.7) and last in FGA (80.7).
Offensive rebounding impacts ORTG, and FGA impacts PPG.
Low sample size but that is legitimately insane for a roster that was just overhauled.

Returning Laker fan…where the heck to watch on TV here in LA?!💜💛
I see it’s on Hulu..or Prime? or some spectrum channel? Is it blacked out on regular broadcast TV like the Dodgers are? (I have YouTube TV). Want to enjoy some games in this post-LeBron era.

HIGHLIGHTS [LFR] Luka's Brilliant Footwork & Shotmaking in 52-Point Performance vs Utah
r/lakers • u/OrganicHunt952 • 15h ago
What doesn't get mentioned enough is Luka is the best 3 level scorer in the league whilst also being one of if not the best playmaker in the league. This is what enables him to lead the league in scoring.
A lot of casual fans and some analyst focus to much on 3pt %, Luka Doncic is a volume 3pt scorer with the highest shot difficulty. By all metrics he is one of the best 3pt shooters in the league on insane volume. Then he's also the best in the paint and from mid range. Also ranked #1 in playmaking last year in nearly all analytical models.
SGA, Jokic are not volume 3pt scorers jokic and sga are low volume 3pt scorers. This is why Luka can always generate a bucket, he can always create a good quality look no matter what. Also the gravity he has is second to none because of that. If offence stalls and paint is packed jokic and sga can't just do a step back 3 or pull up 3 like Luka can.

Lakers announce they've assigned Cameron Carr to the Coachella Valley Lakers.
TEAM TALK Offseason Steals/ Assets / A Need / Squad Up!
The Lakers might have three of the biggest steals of the summer 🤫
Matisse Thybulle and Ziaire Williams are BOTH on minimum deals, but the value they’re bringing to this team are WAY bigger than their contracts suggest. 💯 Plus Cam Carr at the draft position we stole him, our front office was cooking.
Thybulle and Williams both made plays on both ends of the floor and will be HUGE keys to our success this season 🙏
To all the haters’ rhetoric:
“Lakers won’t win more than 30 games this season”. We’re 10% there already.
“Lakers have only beat trash teams”
Proves we’re not one of them.
There’s always some simple brained rebuttal but let our record, our leader Luka, and our coaching, and play making speak for itself. Top 3 seed this year with an essentially new team where AR is our most tenured player. LFG! So excited to continue watching and supporting our Purple and Gold!
Continue being realistic: we need to get rid of Looney Tunes and find at minimum a decent backup big. There’s just no one on the market worth pursuing at the moment that I see but if we can solve that, we are true contenders this season and the next few seasons.

[Stein] The Lakers and 76ers, league sources say, both registered two-way contract interest in Pete Nance after Milwaukee released him last weekend. But the Bucks were ultimately able to keep him in Milwaukee on a two-way deal.
The 76ers and Lakers, league sources say, both registered two-way contract interest in Pete Nance after Milwaukee released the 26-year-old last weekend.
But the Bucks, as The Stein Line reported last Sunday, believed they could get Nance to stay in Brewtown on a two-way with them and were proven correct. Nance is still a Buck.
