Release of v0.1.0 of Ampliflare Audio

I’ve been restoring old lectures and videos. A lot of them have rough audio, and some came as FLAC or OGA files. Converting them online was slow and kept interrupting the work.

I went back to Audacity. It can do almost anything, but its interface wore me down. I wanted to process a file, listen to the result, make another change, and move on.

I spent a week looking for other tools. What I found would have cost about $80 for noise removal and another $20 for conversion. The $100 wasn’t the main issue. I wanted something more accessible for people starting out or working on a nonprofit project like mine.

So I built Ampliflare Audio around that workflow. It has five tools:

• Remove noise from speech.
• Enhance audio by evening out volume and cutting low rumble.
• Cut a recording to the part you need.
• Split a recording into pieces.
• Convert between formats, including less common ones like OGA.

You can process batches of files, listen in the app, follow progress, and find your results in Activity. It saves new files and leaves the originals alone. Everything runs on your computer and available to download directly on Windows, Mac and Linux.

DeepFilterNet3 and FFmpeg do the heavy lifting. I’ve put them into an app you can install and use without setting up those tools yourself.

The source is under the AGPL and is free to build and use, including for commercial work. The ready-made app is free for personal use, up to 20 files a week. For commercial use, a pay-what-you-can license starts at $5 and removes that limit.

I want to keep making software the old-school way: install it, open it, and get on with the work. If Ampliflare Audio helps you, please consider supporting it. I’d also like to hear how it works for you.

Pay what you want is currently under a limited time - I might change it to a fixed price and remains a one time payment.

Industrial ERP solution software END to END

Hi.

We have an Industrial ERP solution developed, deployed to 1 of the clients.

We are looking for the clients to expand and scale. The offer price is very low compared to the market price.

Need advice on how to scale up to more clients. Specifically in EU, US and gulf markets.

I’m trying to get my digital life more organized and realized I’ve been reusing the same passwords way too much. I want a password manager that’s secure, easy to use, and works across my phone and laptop without any headaches. It would be great if it also has autofill and a safe way to share a login or two with family when needed.

I tried relying on my browser’s built-in manager, but it feels limited and not super secure.

What password manager do you think is the most reliable and user friendly right now?

hey everyone, i'm looking to switch my vpn and email setup to something more private and i've been hearing good things about proton. with black friday and cyber monday coming up, i'm hoping to catch some deals on their services.

does anyone here have experience with proton's seasonal promotions? i'm mainly interested in their vpn and mail products but i'm curious if they offer discounts on their bundle plans or longer subscription periods during these shopping events.

if you've grabbed any proton deals in the past, what were you able to score and did you think it was worth it? any tips on whether to wait for black friday specific deals or if cyber monday usually has better offers? also wondering if their pricing is competitive compared to other providers when you get the holiday discounts.

would appreciate any insights from people who have used their services or picked up deals before. trying to make an informed decision before the sales hit.

We are looking for any software projects, if somone brings software projects we are ready to give stake from the profit as well. We have 15 years experience and our company is 9 years old (Indian based company) we are right now working for 4 international countries (their government projects). If anyone interested to bring projects to us, please DM me

I'm looking to renew my vpn and figured I’d try surfshark so I'm checking if there’s good surfshark discount codes going around before I pay full price. Not just those 5% ones, 20% off above if possible (and if there's any). 🤔

I’m trying to find a virtual meeting software that actually runs smoothly without all the random glitches I keep running into. I use it for work and some community meetings, so I need something that’s reliable, easy for everyone to join, and doesn’t choke when a bunch of people are on at once. Clear audio and screen sharing are big must haves since we collaborate a lot.

I tried using a couple of common platforms, but the lag and connection issues have been driving me crazy.

What virtual meeting software has worked best for you and still feels user friendly for people who aren’t super tech savvy?

I’m looking into cheap hosting options to start a small site. Anyone know or have news if there are, or will be, black friday deals for hostinger?

If not, when do they usually start because I'm trying to see if it’s worth waiting a bit or to just sign up now if there'll almost be no difference by bf. Does anyone here used them before or are currently using them?
