Discussion What are y’alls opinion on kakapos?
For context kakapos are a type of large nocturnal flightless parrot that lives in New Zealand and they are harmless and endangered.

I am here to rant about how I suspect that loads of adults roam around this subreddit, no seriously it is just truly disturbing and honestly creepy.
The purpose of this sub is meant to BE for teens untill they reach 20, and if I were to be 20 I would've left but i'm nowhere near that age yet.
I know there is a rule of not allowing face reveals and etc, but since few people did that in the past before I even posted here, I can't help but feel concerned about the person because unfortunately you cannot really avoid creeps online.
It's NOT just men, women aswell who you may recieve DMs from. I had a few which seriously almost made me vomit from the message, I am not joking and this is a serious matter.
----------
Heck, earlier I came out having access to HRT if you remember. Yet again, transphobes text like they're over the age of 20. It's sad to see, but I hope everyone here is safe.
I'm only a 15yo MTF, regardless of social media platforms you're still going to encounter people like these in your life.
Transphobia in this sub is honestly pretty more rampant than homophobia, i'm not saying that as a good thing. I'm pretty sure it was obviously stated that *NO HATE SPEECH.* in the rules was put there.
I know the mods are trying to do their job, but again it's should seriously be announced.

I definitely have more favorites but I can't fit them all here

Welp, it's been a long journey. After a huge amount of mental struggle, despite being at my lowest I still got there.
Under the abuse of my parents, I have managed to talk to the trans community in discreet. I discussed about what I was doing in life currently, being truthful and honest. It wasn't a easy thing to do, especially the fear of my parents finding out.
They discouraged me, being horribly transphobic. They said i would still be a "boy." And did that made me feel trapped and lost?
No. Not at all, I kept pushing until I've started to get in contact with CPS. (Child Protection Services.) It's a long process, but I know i would finally break free from them at once.
I found a way, I didn't want to wait. And with the help of the trans community, I finally managed to get on HRT. I never felt so happy in my life.
Please read this under.
*Don't give up, whenever you are a trans man or woman, don't let anyone discourage you from being yourself in society. Even if it may sound almost impossible, please keep pushing in life.
You deserve better, even at your lowest, remember that you still have many chances and reasons why to live. Regardless if your parents are horrible or not, you don't need to listen to them.
You know, a wise old vampire told me:
Enjoy the ride, with ups and downs.*

Every time a queer microlabel is brought up in this sub, every comment underneath is something like "you're making that up to feel special" or "how do you expect us to know that" or "you make the LGBTQIA+ community look bad."
Fight me all you want, but here's why microlabels are valid.
I follow a comic artist who made a universe where all characters are certain colors in the ROYGBIV spectrum. The series follows a character whose color is mint. She doesn't fit into the label of blue or green, so she makes her own.
That's literally the entire essence of microlabels! People can't find a broad label that describes them, so they find a more niche one or make up their own!
And by the way, no one with a microlabel expects you to remember it or know exactly what it means. All they ask is for you to respect it. You don't need to understand something to respect it.
Also, literally every label in the LGBTQIA+ spectrum is made up! Why does anyone care if someone wants to identify in an unconventional way? It's not hurting anyone. But telling them that they're invalid definitely is hurtful. If you don't like microlabels, just don't use them!
Rant over. Be better.
