My bad burn from a bender explosion
I was making Birria tacos and my blender exploded the hot soup everywhere, luckily I had a towel on my hand and a longer sleeved shirt so my wrist and chest were the only victims! Definitely the most pain I think I’ll ever feel (hopefully) in my life

3 months progression of an allergic reaction
Burnt forewarn on pan.
It got infected & I was given antibiotics. I was allergic to the antibiotic I was given, as well as the adhesive in the bandages.
My provider didn’t think to consider I was allergic, she just kept upping the dosage of the antibiotic. Skin ripped off with the adhesive. 😅

My tongue 4 days after biting it due to back to back seizures
I also had to remove some lip piercings. I've only been able to eat yogurt.

Dog bite from a cane corso.
About two weeks(?) after a bite from a cane corso. I didn't notice it was that bad and had a long sleeve shirt on. Said "just a puppy nibble" and walked on. Only noticed it was bad when my friend looked down in shock and blood was pooling onto the floor. I went to the ER to have it flushed, and It was too deep to be safe to stitch, so cue many, many blood filled bandages. Be safe around dogs, even with dogs of loved ones.
Edit: For clarity, the band-aid covered the actual wound. It was probably a 3/4 to an inch deep. I was placed on multiple antibiotics due to its depth and being unable to stitch it, so there was heavy concern of infection. This incident was almost 7 months ago (but thank you for the kind words!) and that puncture still has a hole beneath the skin.

The lesson, and the teacher.
Don’t have any part of your body in a possible path of a blade. Ashamed to admit that I’m also an Eagle Scout.

Sweatshirt caught fire while welding
IT WAS 100% COTTON.
I was dumb and leaned over a hot weld. Went up in flames. I was around 7 months pregnant too. Day of and the last photo is day 6. Surprisingly didn’t scar.
