Discussion Thirty-Two Years Later, Bus Service Returns in Hats of West Bengal
A 32-year wait isn't just a bureaucratic delay—it is an entire generation forced to walk, overpay for cramped private vans, or live cut off from neighboring towns. Back in 1994, when local voters chose to exercise their democratic right and voted against the ruling Left regime, the payback was swift: state transport bus services were abruptly cut off across Salmara, Najir Hat, Kursha Hat, Basanti Hat, and Baman Hat.
For over three decades, these rural roads stayed empty. Successive governments handed out empty promises, leaving ordinary citizens to bear the brunt of a punishment handed down simply for how they voted. When the Trinamool Congress took power on the promise of "Pariborton" (change), hopes were high. Yet, fifteen years went by without a single state bus returning to these overlooked areas. The political colors shifted from red to blue, but the systemic neglect stayed exactly the same.
Today, real change is finally arriving—not through grand speeches, but through the sound of a state bus pulling into these long-neglected stops right on schedule. Thanks to the persistent efforts of BJP Dinhata MLA Ajoy Roy, state bus services have officially been restored, reconnecting these rural markets to the rest of North Bengal. Fixing a 32-year-old wrong proves that good governance prioritizes public service over old political grudges. Progress is no longer just a distant vision; it is finally moving on the ground.

International News The UAE government has officially honoured Smith Machar — a truly proud achievement for Indians!
Even after more than 20 days since the incident, India's opposition leader has not issued a single statement or tweet congratulating him.
Or is it simply because he hasn't noticed it yet?
What do you guys think could be the reason Rahul Rajiv hasn't done so?

Discussion The Faux Press ID Racket: How Fake Journalists Are Buying Credibility Online! 🚨
How do digital creators and protestors instantly acquire official-looking media credentials? A groundbreaking India Today Investigation has exposed a dangerous online black market where counterfeit press IDs, vehicle stickers, certificates, and media kits are sold for a mere ₹599 to ₹2,500.
Unregulated portals like Hind Media Network, Need24 News, and the Indian Press Union are handing out these credentials with zero background checks or editorial accountability. This allows bad actors to bypass security, manipulate public narratives with AI-generated misinformation, and harass authorities—all in a bid to farm engagement and views.
When legitimate press access becomes a cheap online commodity, public trust in democracy collapses. Journalism only holds power when it is anchored in truth, not when it is bought to serve malicious agendas.
Stay alert, question the labels, and never take self-proclaimed internet reporters at face value!
