OPEN FORUM FRIDAY Open Forum Friday: The Sunday edition - October 25, 2026
Yes, this is two days late. I didn't feel well on Friday, slept most of Saturday, and my internet provider has been going up and down like a yo-yo.

Jeans. Long sleeve shirts. Socks. Shoes.
Switching the HVAC system to 'heat'.
It's just past peak autumn colours here, and the back garden is calf deep in yellow, orange, brown, and gold. We've had a couple of light frosts and everyone seems to be prepping for Halloween.
Well, we have a pumpkin at least...
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Last week we had a SWEET theme, and we got a wild variety of sweet tunes from folks.
I'll leave a Halloween theme for the next OFF, so what will be a good lead up to that holiday?
CARVE.
We do when we ski or drive twisty roads, and we do it to food and fruit. Names, initials, runes.
Eyes.
Mouths with odd teeth.
So let's see some cutting edge stuff, leaving spoil on the floor, dust in the air, and knock all the sharp corners of our imaginations. Show me how you CARVE.
And for extra encouragement, double internet points for interpretive dance.
See you out there, as the trees change and the clocks do as well!
