James Talarico: “Trickle-down economics is not a theory, it’s theft. They have been stealing from the American people, stealing the wealth we created. It’s why everything sucks right now. It’s why everyone is so angry. We have an affordability crisis because we have a corruption crisis."

Iran war cost US gov ~$45B, Oil companies have made $25B. US collected $5B in taxes from oil companies
Trump supporters getting robbed while cheering for it. He tells them were making so much money. he means he and the insiders, not you. While everyone is paying +50% more on gas and diesel. Trump and his friends are using the war to make themselves rich.
Trump has no real reason to stop the war. the longer it goes the richer they get.
the us gov spent $45B of taxpayer money to recover $5B in taxes. and oil companies pocketing the rest.
If youre not willing to invade iran with infantry and tanks there is no chance that irans government will collapse. and that is another 20+ year war.
the last time ayatollah khomeni accepted a ceasefire after the iran-iraq war in 1988 he said later that it was "worse than drinking poison". he said that about a cease fire, not a surrender.
what deal do you think the new ayatollah will make after the US and israeli government killed his father and his entire family.

Texas has no state income tax. So why do lower-income Texans pay a bigger share?
I think a lot of Texans would be surprised by some of these numbers. We hear all the time about the benefits of living in a state without income taxes, but there's a lot more to the picture. I put this together because I think we should all know how these policies affect us, especially when we're deciding who represents us.
Early voting ends October 30, and Election Day is November 3. Find your polling place at https://www.votetexas.gov/voting/where.html. Please get out and vote!

The US in 2026…for the corporation, by the corporation
Allowing corporate money equal standing as individuals have led us here. We allow them to buy elections, why are we surprised when the people they get elected do everything for them to accumulate more money on our backs. Why are we surprised that socialism for the people is despised by half the population but socialism for corporations, giant agriculture and many non producing states is ignored. I’m not a Christian, but the Bible warned against money exchangers and that kind agreed and it looks like it was right.

High Prices
The reason prices are high is simple - we keep paying them! They keep saying the consumer is “resilient.” We’re buying stuff up (with or without the actual funds to do so) and prices will remain there so long as we do!

🇪🇺 🇵🇱 AMERICA'S $160BN FUEL SHOCK. The country in the world paying the most for the war in Iran
CREA estimates the crisis added $160bn to US petrol and diesel spending. The US remains connected to international refined-fuel markets despite its large domestic oil industry and the US consumer is paying between a 33% and 50% of the total cost incurred by the USA/ISRAEL/IRAN war,
For Europe, reducing fuel demand is also an economic-resilience measure. CREA estimates Germany avoided $3.7bn in additional costs relative to 2023 fuel-consumption levels.
The estimate does not attribute all savings to EVs: efficiency, travel choices and demand responses also matter.

Doha Forum: Developing World Data Centre Investment Falls $32bn Despite Global AI Boom
A recent report from UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) highlights a paradox in the global AI boom: while overall foreign direct investment flows to developing economies rose in early 2026, the value of announced greenfield data centre projects in those regions fell by $32 billion.
The World Bank’s recent data shows that high-income economies continue to hold 77% of global colocation data centre capacity, alongside 87% of notable AI models and 91% of venture capital funding. At the conclusion of the World Investment Forum in Doha, organizers introduced new tools—including an infrastructure investment playbook, a risk-sharing initiative, and a digital infrastructure catalyser—aimed at bridging this financing and capacity gap.

The Purpose of Growth: What Happens When a Richer Economy Fails to Make Life More Affordable?
As wealth accumulates and economic opportunity becomes increasingly uneven, the United States faces a question more consequential than how fast its economy can grow: whether the gains of prosperity are translating into greater security, freedom and opportunity for the people who sustain it.
