Tim O'Hare, who cut 92 polling stations in Tarrant County, claims it's Democrats that "want government to intervene and regulate every single aspect of your life"
Please vote like our democracy depends on it.

Live map for where to vote and how long the lines are at the moment.
There are fewer locations that in years before, so it's better to vote as early as you can for the midterm elections.
Exercise your right to vote and don't let others take it away from you.

Insurers are legally required to publish their negotiated rates with hospitals (Transparency in Coverage Act), but they bury it in massive, nearly impossible to access files. So I scraped millions of these pricing data points across Texas.
Interesting findings from MRI pricing data in Fort Worth:
I’ve only done this for common procedures so far (MRI, colonoscopy, PCP visits, ultrasound, X-ray, etc.) on the map. If you want extensive procedure pricing data, you can use the chat on the page.
You can have a look here: https://momentarylab.com/texas-care-atlas?metro=dallas-fort-worth&procedure=mri-no-contrast

Hi everyone, and welcome to a project I call The American Atlas! I've been making hand-drawn & colored maps of every state in the US. Now I’m here sharing them all on one big journey across the country 🗺️🇺🇸
This is my map of Texas, the Lone Star State! 🤠🌾🐎
Everything really is bigger in Texas, including the maps! I had to split this one into two to really capture the sheer size of the Lone Star State. From the gulf coast islands and pine forests of the east, through the rolling Hill Country, and to dry deserts and rugged mountains of the west, Texas is home to an incredible range of landscapes. Within its borders are two national parks, four national forests, and over 90 state parks. The sheer size of Texas means that no two regions feel quite the same, with the east and west ends of the state being over 10 hours apart.
But beyond the vast distances and varied terrain, Texas has its own unique character. The bustling cities of your very own Fort Worth, Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio all bring something different, while historic towns, wide ranches, and the state’s deep Mexican and Wild West roots tell the story of a place shaped by many cultures. From rodeos, Tex-Mex cuisine, and the oil working fields outside of El Paso to the dramatic scenery & wide-open ranchlands of Big Bend, it is clear that Texas is a whole culture all on its own.
Let me know in the comments, what’s your favorite fun fact / roadtrip spot in Texas?
Stay tuned for the second half of my Texas project, covering the western portion of the state, coming next week! And if you like this style, feel free to check out my others, and thanks for taking a look at my Texas map!! 🇺🇸🗺️
Lastly, I did start making these just as a hobby, but the demand for prints & framed copies grew super fast! You can find my work on Etsy here :)

Tarrant came down to 4,308 votes in 2018, and almost half a million of us stayed home. That still gets me.
Early voting runs through Friday, Oct. 30, 7 AM to 7 PM, at any of the 47 Tarrant County early voting sites.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, 7 AM to 7 PM, at any Tarrant County vote center. There are fewer this year (224, down from 316 in 2022), so check before you go.
Bring a photo ID.

I made this with help from AI tools. The numbers come from the Texas Secretary of State, and I checked every one.

I see that TCAP does dental extractions on pets for really low prices. Is there a catch to this? Do they only extract teeth that are really loose or will they extract teeth that for example are bad due to a lesion or something else?

Quick primer for you if this isn't your wheelhouse: he was a State Rep (93). He left that post to presumably run for SD-9, which Leigh W. lost to Taylor. He was told to sit down by Southlake money and dropped out of the State Senate race. Then he got a job with Trump's admin and Paula White (YouTube "strike and strike and strike and strike") doing faith stuff. He lasted there for about a year. He lives in this area and is a senior pastor at Mercy Culture too.
Back in June, there were big rumors that Gov. Abbott was going to appoint him as Secretary of State. That did not happen. Apparently some Republicans told Abbott "the optics on this are horrible." Why would they say that? Well, Nate has claimed five different elections since COVID were "rigged" -- and in each case, a "R" lost and a "D" won.
So he can't be Sec of State. Instead Abbott makes him an "election fairness czar" -- it's a senior advisory role making close to $300,000/annum -- and despite the word "fairness" literally being within his job description, he still tweets "vote red all the way down the ballot."
If Paxton vs. Talarico is even remotely close, this f'n guy is gonna be ALL OVER your phones and TV screens beginning in about 179 hours and going until the race is called. He will be the face of "We must root out Democratic fraud!"
If you are unfamiliar with him, and want to sound smart when your friends in 1.5 weeks are like "Who is this chud saying Talarico's win was rigged," just Google him a few times. Look at his IG. Look at his PAC -- "For Liberty and Justice." You will get the idea.
This is just a PSA because if that race isn't a rout in either direction, this guy will be OMNI-present for half of November.

If you are unhappy with the lack of voting places and the long lines, blame the County Judge and the GOP commissioners. Fortunately you may do something about it by voting them out.
Stand in line. Vote them out.
