A glimpse into how introductions are going
I got Clover for free since she was half blind, scared, not spayed, and in need of a patient home.
I got my cat Sasha for free two years ago since she was old, scared, and had a UTI.
Well, Sasha is the sweetest cat in the world, and I know even if Clover hates her, Sasha would just leave her alone. She also has been around rats for a year and has never had any predatory behavior.
So after a few days of letting them see eachother through the cage, I let Clover free roam with Sasha in the room. It went a bit better than expected. Clover did her zoomies and didn’t show much fear towards Sasha. Sasha was extremely gentle and patient with Clover.
I think they’ll be friends eventually:)
Ps. Clover is in a large dog crate right now because she is not fixed and I do not want her marking up an insane amount of space, she gets free roam at least 6 hours a day supervised and she will be spayed in the next couple weeks and then put into her x pen when she heals 💕
