A glimpse into how introductions are going

I got Clover for free since she was half blind, scared, not spayed, and in need of a patient home.

I got my cat Sasha for free two years ago since she was old, scared, and had a UTI.

Well, Sasha is the sweetest cat in the world, and I know even if Clover hates her, Sasha would just leave her alone. She also has been around rats for a year and has never had any predatory behavior.

So after a few days of letting them see eachother through the cage, I let Clover free roam with Sasha in the room. It went a bit better than expected. Clover did her zoomies and didn’t show much fear towards Sasha. Sasha was extremely gentle and patient with Clover.

I think they’ll be friends eventually:)

Ps. Clover is in a large dog crate right now because she is not fixed and I do not want her marking up an insane amount of space, she gets free roam at least 6 hours a day supervised and she will be spayed in the next couple weeks and then put into her x pen when she heals 💕

Friendship progress

My new bun and one of my cats have been slowly getting comfortable with each other. Last night they both flopped under the bed!
(Ignore the mess of stuff my bun knocked over in the background lol).

My rabbits were not impressed with the cat.

He is friendly enough but dumb as hell. And he knows what rabbits are. He was friends with my late bun Camille. Clover, my lionhead rabbit, seemed the most interested. I am fairly certain that Ruby, my REW rabbit, wouldn't hesitate to lunge at him if she felt he was a threat. And Max, the black and white rabbit, thought he was kinda suspicious. She just hid behind Ruby.

I love these two goofs! I was nervous to bring a cat home but luckily the rabbit is very dominant and the cat is very submissive lol. When there's a loud noise or sudden movement in the house my bunny isn't phased by it but the cat runs off. Sometimes the cat is trying to start to play with the bunny but he just hops off like, "What's wrong with you?" I hope the cat will get bored with him soon though because I'm scared he could accidentally scratch him when he's trying to get him to play.

Nibbles Hunny-Bunny the 3rd, but you can call him Steve. (The only rabbit I’ve ever had, he’s called the 3rd because of the many name options we couldn’t decide on). I call him Bun-Bun.

Kimmy Kitty, my Kimmy Kim. Younger than Bun-Bun by about four years, but licks him as if she‘s his mom. They’ve been best buddies for about a year since she arrived to live with us.
