Shoutout Athens for showing up for wildwood tonight. I thought I would be able to grab tickets to the 6:30 or 7 showing for 3 people an hour before since it’s a Tuesday. To my surprise both B&B and university 16 only had front of the house seats! We ended up going to the AMC in Bethlehem which also had a pretty great turnout.

If you haven’t seen the movie PLEASE give it a try. It was genuinely one of the most beautiful pieces of media I’ve seen in years. Many tears were shed

I think that having a text reminder is great, considering it takes what feels like decades for the government to catch up to modern-day resources.

If you own a store in Athens and you see this person walk in keep an eye on them!

This person stole the controller from a boxed ps4 our booth at the Queen of Hearts on Atlanta highway.

If you could bring back anything to Athens that is no longer here what would it be?

We are going to the RHPS … show tomorrow evening. I didn’t see anything about prop bags on the ticket portal, does anyone have info? Can obvs call, but was trying not to pester anyone. 🤗

I recently rented a house in Athens and a week after I signed the lease I was approached by the management company because the out-of-town owners are proposing to build a garage with an apartment ADU on top at the base of my driveway and connecting to my deck. They're offering me a small concession on rent for the trouble. The owners proposed to move into the unit in a few years. It all seems very up in the air and nothing has been put on paper.

I didn't realize Athens even permitted ADUs like that. I told them give me a written scope of what they wanted and what they propose to offer me and I would review it.

11 panelists from law enforcement, the nonprofit sector and the street answered questions about homelessness at a town hall meeting on Monday hosted by Commissioners Carol Myers, Patrick Davenport and Tiffany Taylor.

What’s the vibe like at the Indigo’s trivia night? How loud and crowded is it? Would a nine year old feel super out of place? Thanks for the help!

Just moved here within the past year, so I’m not too familiar with local people or businesses reputation wise. I’m having some frequent misfires in my 2005 Ford Ranger that has a 2.3 L in it. I’ve just been driving it periodically with the misfire because I knew I was gonna replace it anyway so I didn’t care. It’s sitting at about 240,000 miles.

Anyway, does anyone have any good recommendations on shops or people that do good work? Not looking for any kind of crazy rebuild or anything. Just a simple pull the old motor out put the new one in re-hook up everything it needs to and rock ‘n’ roll. Thanks everyone for the input in advance. I would like to support some local guys if possible.

Recently relocated to the area and need a gyno! Preferably female!

So, who ya’ll voting for in the local and state races?

Extra points for providing legitimate reasons that can help inform local Athenians.

But vote out Mike Collins and Dutch Guest IV!

Apologies for the AI imagery (never made one before and it feels dirty), but I’m busy with my Rumpus costume!
