Lisa was promoted on a provisional basis* following Shunsui’s transfer to Squad 1, as she had previously been his lieutenant and was already familiar with Nanao.

*Provisional Captains do not wear the haori but a white scarf with the Squad emblem.

Went to the Shonen Jump store in Tokyo and was sad at the lack of Bleach merch. But I went around the corner and found a whole Bleach pop up and cafe! They served food themed to the Thousand Year Blood War (didn’t get any photos) with episodes playing on tvs. I got a poster and the last Ichigo flat figurine they had. BANKAI!

The cast of Bleach has always dressed better than most of shōnen, mixing punk and Y2K streetwear with pieces that look pulled straight off a runway.

That comes from Tite Kubo himself, a devoted menswear fan who wears Maison Margiela, Dior, and LOEWE.

Kubo shops the way a manga fan follows a favorite artist from series to series. Jonathan Anderson turned him into a LOEWE customer, and when Anderson moved to Dior, Kubo started buying Dior again.

While watching the ending, I noticed a small detail that I really liked: at the very end, we see grains of sand representing various possible futures. One of these grains is sliced—a reference to the future in which Yhwach is defeated. This severed grain falls onto Haschwalth’s scales, causing them to break; this signifies that the only future in which Yhwach dies is also one where Jugram dies. It implies that Jugram ultimately sacrificed himself to bring about that specific future, as it otherwise never would have come to pass.

I think it’s a brilliant detail—the way it’s depicted in the ending is fantastic.

What a ride, and while we can remember Bleach for the action and magic, let's not forget that Kubo gave us heat and drip for 20 years! I really hope this man's career keeps going beyond the page!

Really hope Kubo gets his own Jojo x Gucci / Louvre moment in the future.

I honestly thought that Liltotto and Giselle would be helping around in Uryu's hospital. I guess at the moment they are just on the run from Soul Society.

So Kubo/Studio Pierrot make a great change of showing that Ichibei has been preparing for Ichigo to become the next Soul King so the 3 worlds can be stable.

When Orihime sacrifices herself in order to kill Yhwach Ichigo knows whats about to happen and he accepts his fate and the ritual starts right away.

But then when Yhwach is actually fully defeated, nothing happens? No ritual, no explanation, nothing....

Its explained in the Light Novels, but why not adapt it in the anime? Just one sentence cant be that hard to add?

These new scenes now feel completely pointless as this plot point gets dropped instantly at the end.

Its like they made new scenes without thinking about them later on so when they adapt the manga 1:1 they contradict themself

The three worlds were shown during Aizen’s speech at the end and then this

I needed to see how Asterisk by Orange Range fits the ending sequence and it fits like a glove 😭 (with a bit of adjusting)

Number One felt right because its arguably the anime's theme song at this point and doesn't have a lower energy section for everyone in the rollcall to have hype music, but I've been imagining Asterisk playing at the end of Bleach the whole TYBW watch lol.
