You couldn’t move but you could look around. Most people took the time to just look at your item path or change around settings. Some people would spam crouch, heavy melee and parry as a way of communicating (other than just the regular chat of course.)

I don’t know, I kind of miss this. It gave a weird sense of vulnerability and closeness with not just your team but the enemy team as well. Being unable to look away from your opponent’s eyes, knowing that it’s either them or you who comes out on top. Really reminded me of those tense boxing stare downs they do before the match.

Solomon voters are too cocky put the man who says he’s 3 moves ahead in dead last by any means necessary.

I’ve been taking a short break from Deadlock to refresh myself for the next content patch but good Lord playing other shooters now feels so… bland. Like the lack of movement, mechanics, hero variety, etc just has me feeling chronically under stimulated. Might have to come back prematurely, especially after the latest Silver changes.

But at least Valheim 1.0 has been GOATED.

Even barring her animations and general model quality (like the other new heroes sans Silver) Dazzling Trick as a VFX completely runs laps around most of the OG roster's abilities. If the Celeste and the new Patron areas are the baseline of polish Valve expects for everything then yeah. Buckle up fellas all those open beta truthers are gonna be coping for a good while.
