Luddite Logic There are millions of serious problems, and then there are three people, probably luddites, saying “AI" xd
The last screenshot says “all the AI madness"

Luddite Logic When will schools do something with luddites like that? Just kick them out! They prefer something that is incompatible with scientific progress.

Defending AI So, what AI webseries do you like ?
Personally, I like these two.
The writing is kinda witty.
Without AI, I doubt we would have them.
Feel free to share what you also like in that post.

Ai is a tool and should be used for fun
Some time ago a friend sent me a photo of my OC Leaf. Ai on the left.
As you can see its... buggy.
So i decided to have some fun. I decided to practice my artist skills and drew over jt.
I gave leaf her full suit of armour. I fixed her ears, her head leaf, I even fixed her sword wielding hand.
I honestly had a great time fixing the picture and I think it looks far better.
When i see other artists whining about Ai and how it steals from others, I always get confused about it. Whose it stealing from? How's that Anime girl you drew any different from the billions of other Anime girls drawn?
Take it, make it your own.

Luddite Logic Not sure if this is pro-ai making fun of the absurdity of anti-ai, or actual anti propaganda that simply cannot recognize how terrible an attempt this is.
It reads as if somebody read a really cool Neils Bohr quote they wanted to share, spent hours working on the shading and picking just the right font in Photoshop and tilting the words so that they almost look like they're floating in the room. The tasteful red infiltrates on the text , the sepia coloring. Then realize, oh no! This is actually a really good argument for AI art. better fuck up this art by slapping some new subtext underneath that doesn't actually fit with the rest of the composition just so there's no confusion and somebody doesn't think i'm in for this to apply to ai.

I have never been as disappointed in humanity as I am now
Like, millions of people are starving, people get shot at while trying to escape North Korea, there are several wars going on right now, notably the invasion of Ukraine and the genocide of Palestine from Israel. The US president created a new police force that's shot several innocent people in the head.
And people on the internet are complaining the most about... AI generated art? Like, really!? THAT'S what you care the most about!? Could you imagine what the world would look like if people pushed back this much against ACTUAL injustices!? I honestly think the world would be a better place then. Apparently, people don't care enough to try and overthrow the North Korean government, but they sure care about images being drawn by robots so much that they'll harass and bully anyone using it, treating them like they've committed a crime against humanity and even talk about bombing AI datacenters.
Like... this is a non-issue in the grand scheme of things! I really thought people were better than this until now. Has anyone else been thinking about this?
P.S. I see AI as a tool, like any other. AI is a productivity tool. It can be used to speed up programming, create a starting point for a document, generate music, generate pictures etc. When I first saw what ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion could do, I was genuinely amazed! I never thought we'd see this in our lifetimes! The technology has only gotten better too.
When I first noticed that a lot of people were against it, I was confused and surprised. I was even more shocked when I realized just how many people absolutely hate it like it's a crime against humanity! Like, what? It's just a tool!
What's funny is that in the real world, if you step away from your computer for a bit, most normal people don't care! Maybe those haters just need to touch some grass.

Luddite Logic Uber Backtracking
I point out the flaws in his logic and his weird way of arguing that attacks his own position and constantly changes the goalpost like that was actually the discussion here. Then backtracks and says it was all a joke when I call him out on it.

Sloppost/Fard Even though an AI-generated film bombed at the box office, that doesn't mean that AI cinema is worse than human-made cinema.

Op copies another painting, is disappointed it turned out to be ai
There’s so much going wrong here. Op was copying what she thought was an old painting, you’ll see from her update in the comments she was t doing anything new with it, just repainting it in oils. Then gets disappointed when she discovered it had infact been made by ai. No one cares in the comments that she was original stealing from a real person (or so she thought) so it’s no surprise they don’t mind her stealing the ai. There’s even a comment about trying to make it look like she painted it first and the ai stole from her. Also cue the bog standard all ai is slop, yet this girl was fooled into thinking it was real and everyone LOVES her painting even though it’s a direct copy of what the ai made.
The hypocrisy is high in this one

Defending AI What actually happens when you “support an artist”
before I start writing this rant, i’d like to say; I am an artist as well. I also do commissions and commission other artists and all the like. but unlike anti artists, I don’t feel like people are obligated to commission me instead of using ai. I’m a pro-ai artist, I support all forms of art.
However one thing pisses me off about the “support a real artist!” BS that anti’s always say. I decided to commission an artist awhile ago, it’s been eight months. I still have yet to receive an update from them unless I beg for it, and most notably threaten them for a refund. they had various excuses like; “sorry, I had a mental breakdown!” or “my tablet broke!” or “i have to do [___] with family!”along with “I’ll update you tomorrow!” And never sending an update. For reference, their turnaround time was three days. it truly pisses me off that the same artists who preach supporting them are also the ones who fail to deliver bare minimum service to their customers. this isnt even the first time this has happened to me either, but it is the longest time. I’m not generalizing artists here; but I don’t think pro’s should feel obligated to commission someone if they’re going to treat us like scum anyway. It’s either poor service, or they’ll charge 10x more than the average person makes in 6 months. All while I could’ve gotten multiple high quality pictures done with ai within seconds for only $25 a month..

What's this about the AI bubble popping?
I heard some people say that the AI bubble has officially popped. What's this about and is there any truth to it?

Luddite Logic They make me feel a little sorry for them, not much, though
It's not about having to "win" anything. Fighting against technology is ridiculous. They were never going to achieve anything
All they have left are their "safe spaces" or echo chambers where they harass those of us who use AI

Never thought I would see an anti-ai witch.
The video has the typical misunderstanding of how ai works, but honestly the novelty of seeing just made me laugh.
