I’ve been on the hunt for my perfect ESSA… and today I fell in love with this little guy at work.
I know he’s a little unconventional compared to most people’s dogs and stuff, but he’s SO cute. 😭

I’m thinking of calling him “Crash”. I have no idea why.

A big diso of mine until i was able to adopt him from a friend! Originally his gear was meant for another dog but i think this suits him perfectly 🖤💫

Hello! Mini rant about life so far ♡
(don’t mind the title I found it funny)

I used to have 4 ESSA’s, Rex, Honey, Milo, and Enzo. My mother is super religious, and had me throw them all away in the trash because in my religion, stuffed animals / full body toys or plushies are not acceptable to have. I tried and tried, begged her to let me keep at least one but she wouldn’t budge. I had to put them all in a big garbage bag MYSELF and throw them away.

That was around 4 months ago. Fast forward to July 25th - day before my birthday - I was confiding with a close friend of mine, 3+ years, and he asked me what I had wanted for my birthday, and I mentioned a German shepherd plushie, as Rex - my first ever essa - was a German shepherd!

I got the plushie on the day of my birthday - July 26th - and I’ve been in love with my baby. I named him after my first essa, Rex, and take him out as much as I can.

I have to hide him A LOT due to the fact that if my mom ever found out, I’d lose any trust I’ve gained back.

Looking for name ideas for this kitty! I don't really have any ideas or requirements, I'll likely just pick whatever I like if I don't manage to come up with one on my own

I got him for sad sentimental reasons, but he is just so cute and he looks so much like my dog did especially at night in certain lighting it's like he is here with me again just puppy sized again. I gotta buy a second one of him, but I am struggling with the website allowing me for some reason. I gotta have a backup of my boy or my heart just won't be able to take it.

This is Clover, Vixen (both girls) and my goofy son Callisto!!!
Clover is new :3 got her yesterday at the mall, her and Callisto are weighted >:3

I’m a bit new to the ESSA community, I’ve had stuffed animals be emotional support and comfort my whole life but I never knew there was a community for it until about a year or two ago!!!

I have many ESSA’s, usually jumping between them, but Callisto and Kylie (a rabbit plush I’ve had since I was really little that’s not shown here) are usually the most consistent as I cuddle them at night to sleep <3

ANYWAY ANYWAY MY QUESTION I am so sorry if this is a dumb question, how do you bond or connect with your ESSA’s more?
Some of them I would love to be able to feel more bond towards than I do, but I’m not sure where to even begin

I've been taking Toll outside more and more. Still nervous about it in my own neighborhood but having him with me, even just in my backpack, is worth it. He's more of a homebody in my headcanon so he's probably waiting for new plushies to arrive as much as I do but we have a bond and I don't think that's going to change.
