Ok, yall, the automod should be correctly configured now. more info in the body
When I set up the automod to save us all the hassle in dealing with the constant trolls, I didn't really know what I was doing. There is a ton of documentation to read through. It all works like a programming language, and thats not exactly my field of expertise. I had it set to trigger off post karma, because all of these trolls coming in had 1 post karma on these throwaway accounts. I found how to set it up to trigger removals on combined karma, so a lot more people will be able to comment like normal now. Please...please stop messaging us so much. I know this has been a pain in the ass, but we have lives and are just trying to keep as many people happy as we can.
The new trigger is 1000 combined karma.

Will Paxton cheat?
How likely is it that Paxton "wins" by magically getting enough votes at the last second?

If Talarico is our only victory this midterm election...
It will send the message that Texas only got its first Democratic senator in 30 years because the Republican candidate was so bad. But it will also show that Texas isn't a lost cause as they will have rejected an objectively terrible candidate.
Now, I hope that Hinojosa, Goodwin, Johnson, etc also win their elections, too. As it will send the message that Texas is finally turning blue. But if Talarico is our only victory, I hope he makes the most of his time in the Senate and replicates his success from his time in the state House to the US Senate.

Who is this Noah Betz guy!?
Please don’t forget about Abbott’s millionaire buddy Don Huffines!!
I spent 18 months researching Don Huffines, MAGA millionaire, owner of Zorro ranch and now our acting comptroller. Now we have a new twist since he moved into the position as Acting Comptroller. He hires Noah Betz, super young guy who allegedly graduated from A&M in 2023 as Deputy Comptroller. He ran Huffines’ campaign. But his linked in states he managed the WINNING 2026 Comptroller campaign. Someone needs to tell him how “ACTING” Comptroller works!!! He graduated high school in 2020 and has no government experience. I also find it Sus that he says he graduated A&M in 2023 so I will be checking up on that. (I already discovered one of Huffienes’ sons, Russell Huffines did not graduate from UT like he said he did! He has a positon at the White House) If you have any other info on NOAH BETZ please send it my way!!! AND VOTE FOR SARAH ECKHARDT FOR COMPTROLLER!!

News Why won't Texas Republicans debate?
> Elections are supposed to be about ideas. But that’s not politics today, where ridiculous ads and social media soundbites stand in for actual debate.
> This cycle, Texas voters haven’t seen candidates come together to wrangle over their ideas in the races for governor, U.S. Senate or lieutenant governor. The fact that every Republican for major office hasn’t been willing to put their ideas to the test in one-on-one debates is pathetic.
