I saw alot of theories on the meaning of these symbols and I think I now know what they mean they are from the Ancient teyvat script and if read correctly they spell Phanes the name of the heavenly principles

Only reason it took this long was because of the Winter Night's Letter achievement

So this is from tsaritsa assignement. Shes obviously evaluating us. Thats probably something she does to be sure to not screw up in actions or speech when we can see her, potentially ending the collaboration. But i also think white pieces are representing teyvat situation, with the king being tsaritsa very likely. Considering the trailers we got, this pieces might be the gnosis and by extensions their archons. But i have a bad feeling about it. I liked traveler moving the topic to real life intricacies. Now the question is: what place anastasya think we occupy om the board and why should we help her further?

Not a chess pro or anything, but I suspected the Tsaritsa was a little too optimistic about the Queen trap. Turns out the position is a mate in 5 in favor of black. Even if black's Queen "takes the bait" and captures white's bishop in the next move, it's still a mate in 7.

If we apply this scenario to our current situation in the fight against the heavenly principles, which this scene implied, it's bad news for us. Unless the heavenly principles are the worst strategist ever, we are cooked. We better hope they blunder quite a few of their next moves.

Also the Tsaritsa mentioned black's king didn't leave its starting position, but that's not true. Black's king starts on e8.

Im kinda disappointed, how fatui like completely lost their aura. I was genuinely scared of columbina, her design aufff. They could've given these design for all the harbingers. But alas we even lost pulonia, the chad and got a diet mommy robo instead.

The aura all of em had back then and how they were portrayed to be bad, doing crimes all over teyvat with almost no consequences. Now we are doing friendship with them😭😭.

I don’t know if I’m tripping but is this not one of the background musics in genshin ? I cannot place what region it is but I have definitely heard is somewhere

When seeing the board for the first time, despite Paimon's commentary I quicky realized black's queen is doomed and black is at a huge disadvantage here, after white has moved obviously. I was confused seeing the option to go back, when there was no such move possible. And the rest of the available moves were a certain death too. After the queen gone, I don't think black has any chance to win, provided white plays optimally. The black queen here was representing Ronova, right? But she did 'call' the EITR. So what negative consequences await for killing the queen in this chessboard? I don't see any.

Am I missing something, correct me if I'm wrong?? The traveler and Tsaritsa don't know how to play chess. This is a mate in 2 if you sacrifice the Queen by letting it hang and capturing the white rook instead from black's rook at b2. If Pawn takes the queen, capture the white knight(e2), [check] and the white king can only move either one box in front and one back, if it moves back(King g1) black pawn moves d5 and mate(Black Bishop check)
And if the King moves forward(g3), bishop goes d7 check and if King takes black bishop at g4, black rook at e2 goes g2 and mate

If you see the 2nd pic, these symbols represent the Archons of the nations, having to go through some sort of Trial, to make it seem that they deserve to be archons/will protect their nation(?).

Although I'm still not sure WHAT exactly the symbols and the nations have in common, they symbolise that the nations with the nails will have to go through some sort of test. (We see all 7 archons answer to this very question, with Venti's answer triggering something)

Up to and including Natlan, we received 1 of each type of billet for donating sigils to the main system of the region.

Since Nod Krai and Snezhnaya got downgraded to just "meeting points" we've basically lost 5 free weapons per region for no good reason.

Nod Krai didn't even have them in the sigil store unlocked after all the meeting points.

As of now, Snezhnaya has only had 1 billet and it's a reward for the weekly FPS.

On top of the large drought of event 4 stars (thankfully ended) and the abolition of fishing weapons, it's just one more drop in the bucket of hoyo hating us getting 4 star weapons.

Was the bonus "10% chance for double the product" always calculated per item instead of per batch crafted ?

I usually craft singles to increase the odds of the 10% happening, but I had to make space, cause I capped on slime condensate, so I crafted a big batch all at once this time.

Since it seems to be calculated like that, I do not have to do single crafts anymore at all, but I really thought it was different before.

It really doesn’t help that anemo is kinda green

I have all sub-regions above 90% still main area exploration is only 48% . How?????

I mean one reason could be that 48% is including all upcoming regions, but that raises a question , 50% of all of snezhnaya is released in 7.0???

Or am i missing something??

7.1 Ending Spoilers ahead.

In trying to stall and provoke Ronova, traveller said something that made me honestly roll my eyes. It appears that Snezhnaya story really wants to put everyone's delusions and hypocrisy on full display.

Lumine called Ronova nothing but someone else's tool without free will of their own. But let's look at what's actually happened since the game began and what she/he's actually done.

Monstadt, shows up, immediately gets recruited into fighting a wind dragon on behalf of people they barely know.

Liyue, shows up, immediately gets framed, and gets recruited by Ningguang to solve the fatui problem.

Inazuma, shows up, gets immediately beseeched by Yashiro commission to help them fight the VHD. Actually says no for once, until they see Thoma's vision get taken and immediately decide to fight the Shogunate and join a rebellion.

Sumeru is the only nation where the traveller's motivations in the Archon Quest has some reasonable backing since she actually has real investment in the welfare of the people she met to try and help them.

Fontaine is the most ridiculous one. Shows up, meets a magician, gets scolded by the archon, and immediately gets roped into defending these complete strangers in court that they only met 13 minutes ago against the nation's archon, then throughout the story, the traveller was a glorified errand boy, go here, investigate that, go pretend to be furina's friend, then put her on trial.

Let's remember that in Fontaine, the traveller's behaviour was so brainless that in retrospect, they were literally working against Furina, toward the demise of Fontaine if they succeeded.

Natlan, for all its writing issues and unprecedented traveller glazing, Natlan actually has a true enemy that makes complete sense for the traveller to fight against.

Nod Krai, like Sumeru, forms a real connection between the traveller and the cast before they decide to fall into their plans.

Snezhnaya, Traveller shows up, immediately forgets all of the beef with the Fatui and all the Fatui has done under Pierro's direction, like, I don't know, what the Doctor did to Kunikuzushi under his orders. All it takes is for Ronova to try and take Paimon and Pierro going "Oh tHe dEluSiOnS aRe vOlunTarY" for the traveller to... what, go along with fighting death?

After all this, for the traveller of all people to have the gall to trash Ronova for being a tool when the traveller has since day 1 been the biggest tool in teyvat, nearly completely without agency, constantly larping as a gun that falls into some faction's lap, waiting for them to point at an enemy and pull the trigger.

Traveller is arguably the least qualified person in all of teyvat to be saying that line, since the traveller seems to basically stand for nothing, depending entirely on what the latest person they meet says to them. If the abyss manifests as a person and goes "Abyss lives matter too you know?!?!" I bet the traveller will 100% work with them too.

Just to clarify: Esoptron is the AI of Celestia. Its main purpose is to manage Celestia and make sure the people of Teyvat (and the Shades of Phanes) don't cross any lines. If someone breaks the heavenly laws, they get punished - just look at Ronova losing her powers in the latest Archon Quest chapter.

In the version 7.2 trailer, they listed all the voice actors for characters who had even a single line. Guess who was on there? Celestia. Specifically, the Celestia program I just mentioned.
Here is the kicker: Esoptron and Paimon share the exact same voice actor. What are we supposed to make of this?
I am 100% convinced they are connected.
First of all, Venti and Istaroth share a VA, and we know that's completely lore-accurate since Venti is a creation of Istaroth.

If Paimon is a creation of Celestia, it makes total sense that she was sent to Teyvat as a «data collector», She’s incredibly nosy, constantly asks questions, and acts like a child (and let's be real, kids are the most curious and innocent beings).
Since Paimon is tied to Celestia, I used to think she might be a failed prototype of Phanes' First Shade... After all, those Asmoday theories didn't come out of nowhere. I can't fully back that up with hard lore yet, but my gut tells me there's something there.

If Paimon is a creation of Celestia, and Ronova called her a «useless thing with no power or authority» - why wouldn't they send her down to Teyvat just to spy on the locals and gather intel?

Honestly, I’d argue against her being completely «useless». If she really is just junk, why would Ronova go out of her way to kidnap her and desperately try to rip her away from us? It feels like Paimon is going to be massive for the endgame plot. Hoyo is slowly cooking here, dropping hints and giving us tons of theory fodder.

As of right now, the only official link between Esoptron and Paimon is that they both originate from Celestia. But with the shared VA, there's definitely more to the story.

Wierd phenomenon when Playing genshin

I hated the idea that I can't play the chess on my own. I think Hoyo should add chess in the game like Genius Invocation TCG so that we can play chess with NPCs or friends. As I like to play chess, today's assignment was fun. Do you think it's a good idea?
