The clear dome was too hard to figure out not suffocating and fog so we purchased an astronaut helmet for $37 on Amazon.

I made the suit out of EVA foam and painted an old pair of boots silver.

The straps stuff was basically just a bunch of random odds and ends and luggage straps I could find. The belt is technically a luggage strap. I guess I could go back and try to find like an actual leather belt but I thought the canvas strap looked kind of more tactical?

The thigh holsters are also luggage straps. lol. Anyway, please give me some help and feedback. If there is something you feel would really make a difference in the look. My remaining budget for this costume is about $0, but maybe $30 if there was really something that would make it look a lot more authentic. I’m trying to win a costume contest for “sexiest costume” so if a better element would make me more likely to win, it could make it financially worth it. The costume contest is not that competitive. I won last year dressed as Velma.

Should I go tan, green, or green over tan for the shirt?

I have gotten this card more than any others from my spreads this year, so I decided to be her for Samhain! I also made with witchy circle focaccia loaf "coins."

Thrifted the dresses from goodwill and then made a stamp for the flower + used arcylic/fabric medium and the coins are repurposed cardboard and paint!

I don't know how to do makeup, so if anyone has any tips on what I can change or do better that would be appreciated. I used a liquid foundation and a powder on top and some parts came out splotchy. Is there any way to fix that? It doesn't bother me too much, but if I can get a smoother finish that would be great 🤗

I didn't have batteries in the right side lights, because I'm an idiot. 3D printed Helmet, boot covers, diving knife, and the belt weights. I will be wearing a black face covering when Im out proper.

After a month of thrift shopping and Amazon purchases (wigs and monocle), it finally came together!

There is a scene in the original Super Troopers where two officers from feuding agencies agree to meet incognito. The joke is that they agreed to show up dressed as bikers, but Ursula showed up as a motorcycle biker and Foster showed up in bicyclist gear.

I thought that was a clever gag and I would like to do something similar as a costume for my wife and I. The only thing I could come up with involved professional sports teams. For instance, my wife would be dressed as a cowboy and I would be wearing a Dak Prescott Dallas Cowboys jersey. The same joke would work with Tigers, Eagles, Bears, etc.

I’m looking for any other ideas that would fit with the spirit of the biker joke. Thanks ahead of time.
