Idk if it's just me but I'm seeing many opinions on this subreddit about aspirants aiming for IISERs over other top engineering colleges cuz theyre really passionate about "research" rather than engineering. They don't usually state what specific topic they want to research in but just "research". My questions is isn't research present in engineering too? You can pursue a phd and post docs and become a professor too after an engineering degree right. And it's often easier for engineering phd grade to land jobs in industry than natural sciences phd holders. So shouldn't it be research in basic sciences rather than just "research"? Is it just me that's seeing this across the subreddit?

Which batch to consider if i wanna buy the batch just for mocks and dpps? I've never attempted any of their tests so no idea on whose mocks are better in terms of the level of difficulty, pattern, relevence of questions algining with iat and all of the concerning factors.

If someone has attempted both of their mocks pls feel free to share your opinion 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Question for the research aspirants, I'm a 10th grader who's a NEET aspirant with additional interests in research, teaching, but only for subjects like biology and chemistry, is research in these fields good in India or abroad(I'm financially well off) and should i consider this fields esp biology for research, job as a professor etc?

STUPIDEST ARGUEMENT I HAVE EVER HEARD, seriously bhai like IIT Jaane ke baad kya tumeh turant hi 25LPA ki salary milne lag jati hai ? Like iss MAHAPURUSH ne ese IIT ko har financial problem ka solution declare kia jaise voh university nhi koi free money machine ho and like IIT mai kya Acadmics nhi hote, has he even studied properly in IITD like CSE is not a piece of cake it is tough and has alot of course work to do, CS is not only abt coding, you can check it on IIT's website of CSE department? this is pure misguidance
THERE IS A BASIC THING HE NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND, If there is no new research than there are no new engineering techniques and ideas as Research is foundation of every Applicative Sciences.
And honestly if u get admission in IISc/IISERs and if u pursue PHD and get recommendation by Profs for foreign Ph.D u will earn alot better during ur phd and post doc, and u can save it, Though it is time taking still there is no such thing that research mai paisa nhi hai
Also what do u mean by that physics ya koi bhi subject research level pr boring hojata hai like bro is all IISc IIT IISER NISER NIT etc profs are researchers only if they wouldn't have decided to be one then u wouldn't be able to learn anything in Engineering

Lemme be honest, I am a pcm class 11th grader, and as usual, I am stuck in the jee loophole. I want to pursue research(physics), not even for money but for myself. The thing is that I am getting 210+ score in jee mains mocks and I am currently doing maths only. Now I don't know how will I be able to cover biology! What should I do? Seniors, please help me out and fellow pcm IAT aspirants can also share their strategies.

I saw people recommending vipin sir and i previously used his 10 day neet playlist but now i realised that there is one for botany only one for zoology only one old playlist called ozone classes...

i started with ozone classes and started cell unit of life but sir is mentioning that "hum ye bhi padh chuke and vo bhi padh chuke hai" sir even said "hum ye biotech me padh chuke the" BIOTECH BEFORE CELL????

so now im really confused, sorry for the repeated question.
