Art/Creators Megathread Weekly Art/Creators Promo Megathread
Welcome to this Week's Art/Creators Promo Megathread!
Here you can share examples of work and links to creator's profiles (including your own!) as long as it is not on a Meta owned platform (Instagram, Facebook etc.) or Twitter.
Let's help our community artists, authors, designers, craft makers, musicians, singers, sculptors, performers, streamers and any other kind of creator get recognised and celebrate the amazing creativity in our community!
A few quick rules:
- No AI/NFT Content.
- Accounts shared must be creating own content, not solely reposting others.
- NSFW Suggestive art (e.g. shirtless/pin up) is allowed but must be tagged. NSFW Explicit art (e.g. pornography, genitals visible) or NSFW suggestive of real people is not allowed. No links to exclusively 18+ platforms e.g. OnlyFans.
- Creator must be actively posting on a platform other than Meta or Twitter.
- Comments from users with less than 50 karma on this subreddit will be auto-removed to avoid spammers. (I will look to approve genuine ones when possible but no promises!)
- Please respect if a creator says no reposts of their work - just share a link.
The art/work they create does not have to be LGBTQ+ related, we're here to help any creator who is LGBTQ+ promote their profiles, particularly if they're trying to establish themselves on a different one with the recent social media drama!
Looking forward to discovering some new creators with you all!

My son came out this weekend⦠I think?
It was loud. He wasnāt talking to me, but I was obviously close enough to hear - Iād made a couple of comments into their conversation already. They were talking about something heād just purchased and he said he didnāt have enough money to get both, but he wished heād gotten the one that had the bi flag colors. āWhy?ā says his friend. āWell, because I amā he says. āOh, I didnāt know that.ā And then they continue their conversation about shopping.
I sat there in shock trying SO hard not to react. I know my son. It doesnāt matter if itās a stubbed toe, an A on a test or a declaration of his sexuality - āitās not a big dealā is his motto in life. Plus, he didnāt say it to me. I wasnāt invited to comment.
But wow I wanted to. When I was his age even the most supportive of friends or family didnāt just move on with the conversation. Support always seemed to mean hugs and āI still love youā announcements. To hear this so casually accepted and set aside as less important to the conversation than what else they had purchased was justā¦. Wow.
Besides, heās heard my rant about feeling the need to say I still love you despite your sexuality - as if unconditional love suddenly could have had conditions. Now, I want to acknowledge that I heard him - but he hasnāt brought it up again and Iām not sure he wants me to. I donāt want to stay quiet if heās waiting for me to say somethingā¦. I donāt want to say something if heās hoping Iāll stay quiet. So, I bought the item he didnāt have enough money for⦠in the colors of the bi flag. I figure I will just let him know that I heard him say he wanted it⦠because he is⦠and let it go at that. Heāll know we can talk, but we donāt have to if he doesnāt want toā¦. Heāll know I heard him. I saw him. I accept him.
Iām so damned in awe of him and his generation. Thanks for listening folks. I could talk to the people I normally would without sharing what he said. Itās his to tell, if he wants to tell it. But it was so big that I had to share with someone!

Rescind Executive Order 14183: Let Transgender Americans Serve
Right now, Executive Order 14183 blocks transgender individuals from serving in the militaryāand that's a massive waste of talent, courage, and patriotism.
I started this petition because the data is clear: roughly 4,000 transgender military personnel are already serving without any negative impact on readiness or unit cohesion. Research from RAND shows inclusive policies cost less than 0.1% of active healthcare spending. Strength and valor aren't determined by gender identity. These are people willing to sacrifice everything for our countryāand we're turning them away.
The military was built on sacrifice, dedication, and defending freedom. Excluding transgender people contradicts those very principles. If this bothers you as much as it bothers me, consider signing and sharing. What would you want someone to do if this was your family or your right being denied?

Coming Out! Happy asexual awareness week everyone! This is the first time this week that Iāve been out and am living as my authentic self.
I first came out to myself as asexual back in 2023. I had known how I felt and identified it all the way back then in that retrospect. I was told not to come out or tell anyone, so that I wouldnāt be bullied for it.
Then, because people kept asking if every girl I ever spoke to was my girlfriend, I had enough and decided to tell someone who thought I had a crush on her that I was asexual. She then proceeded to call me weird for that and told me that it makes her sad her friends also all said shit about me when I wasnāt around and used my autism against me as well.
Then, after I had developed feelings for someone, people had figured out that I had feelings for him, and decided to tell everyone about it. They said so many horrible things to me - not even homophobic, but instead, they made comments that were so objectifying and uncomfortable. Even at one point couldnāt comprehend how I was gay and asexual at the same time. I was too scared to say anything to him because I didnāt want anything to go wrong, so I never told him, though Iām sure he figured it out at some point. At least we remained friends thoughā¦
Now, here I am, after high school. /ād I feel like I am finally able to be true to myself. I donāt want to hide who I am anymore. And so, now that itās ace awareness week, I make this post.
Happy asexual awareness week š¤š©¶š¤š

I (41f) believe my husband (41m) is in love with his best friend (41m)
tl;dr donāt use Reddit and so I apologize if I format this all wrong and it may be all over the place.
I have been with my husband, we will call him Michael for this, for 22 years. Michaelās best friend, call him Daniel, and his wife Rebecca (f41), have been together for 19 years. Michael and Daniel have known each other for 35 years and they are very very close.
I understand that male relationships/friendships can be extremely close and extremely profound and this is not something that Iāve only recently thought up, but something that I have been brewing over for many years and have in recent years spoken to Rebecca about as well.
We all have grown very close and there genuinely hasnāt been more than a week in these twenty years that I think weāve been apart. We live across the street from each other, Daniel and Michael are together constantly and me and Rebecca hang out a lot as well. Weāve raised our kids together and the two of them are inseparable.
I understand that I canāt even understand the bond that being with someone, knowing someone for 35+ years can cause.
There have been moments me and Rebecca have both noticed that have made us believe this. In the beg it was almost impossible to ever get them apart, always together, always touching. The whole lot and itās never once bothered me. It still doesnāt.
Michael is openly bi and I have always known this. Itās never been confusing or bothered me in any way. In the early 2000s, which is when I met him and was still a troubling time for LGBTQ+ people I actually found it beautiful how out and proud he was. Daniel has always been a very proud straight ally.
But over the years there have been countless looks the two have shared that seem far beyond your typical friend glances. Again I canāt fathom a friendship of 35 years but it goes beyond that. In times they didnāt realize I or Rebecca were around they get so close and then itās as if they come to their senses and they look so devastated but also so scared. I have told Michael so many times over the years, and I imagine rebecca has as well, that he can tell me absolutely anything but of course hes never mentioned anything like this to me.
Rebecca told me something a few months ago that Daniel and her were drinking One night and he started sobbing, saying he wished Michael was a girl so he could love him openly.
Obviously this could all mean nothing but if it doesnāt I want to do the right Thing. I love Michael so much and I hate seeing him look to someone with so much longing for something he thinks he canāt have.
what should I do?

Wearing pride bracelets for school: my first month
Hello dear queers. I'm the teacher that posted the bracelets around a month ago and want to give some feedback.
I'm wearing a new set of Pride Bracelets I've gotten from a friend of mine, after the first one broke unfortunately. The new ones are the trans bracelet and the rainbow bracelet.
Some students asked me about it, who felt quite insecure in the beginning, but now felt like talking a bit more, and it seems like the bracelets have a good effect on the students. They felt like talking to me and it seemed like it was okay for them to talk about their struggles with me.
I do feel like that these bracelets have a good effect on the students generally, and I hope that this trust isn't misplaced.
