Overall, I was really happy with how it held up and especially how it translated in both iPhone photos and professional photography!

Saw that I posted here 11 years ago when I was in my 20s, asking how to make eyeshadow stop creasing 🥹 Well I figured it out! And then I never stopped packing it on, in all the colors I could find 😌🏳️‍🌈 so happy that it's seemingly returning to "mainstream media" as well! 😍

I suck at makeup but I'm having so much fun playing with these colors and doing a new eye look everyday. (All these colors and I gravitate to blue every time lol)

Im not good at doing eyeliner especially so I just don't do it, or if I do I use eyeshadow cause I find it more forgiving. Hopefully I can get better at it, but for now it keeps ruining my eye looks lol.

i was in the dark the whole night (duh, it’s a techno set…), and i still don’t think i’ve ever gotten this many compliments on my makeup specifically as i did that night!!

Hey everyone! I tried recreating Zendaya’s iconic look from the Odyssey Premiere, but clearly, I didn’t quite hit the mark xD

I don't think it looks completely terrible, but there are definitely subtle flaws I’m struggling to pinpoint. A few things I already noticed:

- The brown shadow is way too warm/saturated for my skintone. It should be a cold tone.

- The lashes don't match the shape well.

- The lip shade is too pink.

Lighting error on my part: I used a very warm/yellow light instead of a neutral one!

I followed Alexandra Anele's tutorial, but of course, hers turned out stunning haha. Oh well, gotta laugh so I don't cry! Constructive Criticism Welcome! I'd love any tips on what else I can improve!

I still feel beautiful even at the end of the day!! I think I’ve found my perfect routine for my skin type. I have normal/combo skin type, oily nose and the area around my nose gets oily, dry under eyes. The only thing I reapply is my lip liner and lip balm throughout the day!

I’m really new to Reddit, and I’m also trying to step out of my comfort zone and experiment more with eyeshadow!

I tried this cute brown smoky eye look with a bit of blue shimmer. The shimmer was actually supposed to be in the middle of my eyelid for a halo look, but it kept creeping towards the top of my lid 😂 I’m not sure if it was my placement or because I applied it with my fingers, but it ended up looking cute anyway, so I’m not mad at it!

I’m a painter and I’m new to makeup. I started doing it earlier this month because I was feeling eager to expand my self expression. I’m inspired by artworks, video games, nature and other stuff that I love <3

This one is based on one of favorite paintings, to welcome the spooky season.

I felt so beautiful on this day! My hair fell perfectly, my makeup looked so sharp and I applied it slowly and with intention. Here’s what I did/used:

I contoured the hollows of my cheeks with my Chanel bronzer in Soleil Tan Deep Bronze. I also contoured the sides and tip of my nose with the same bronzer.

I used my Nars Ethereal Aura Blush Palette and mixed shades Foolish and Thrash. I applied from the apples of my cheeks to my temples. I also applied the tiniest amount on my forehead, chin and tip of my nose.

I applied a bit of highlight to the tops of my cheeks using my Dior Backstage Face Palette in Universal using the Gold and White shade mixed together. I applied a little bit of the Bronze shade to my eyelid.

I applied my NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop concealer in Vanilla under my eyes and used my Charlotte Tilbury Translucent powder (I’m so sorry the name has rubbed off. The label is completely destroyed.)

I then used my Maybelline Sky High Mascara in Blackest Black and waterproof. I did 2 coats on both bottom and top lashes.
It helps to wait for the first coat to dry to really build it up.

I then lined my upper eyelids in Make Up For Ever’s eyeliner in Graphite.

I used a mauve Essence Lip Pencil from the 2025 Essence Advent Calendar. I filled in my lips with my Mac lipstick in Twig Twist

I filled in my brows with NYX Professional Makeup Micro Brow Pencil in Brunette.
