If anyone is in the Fargo Moorhead district and got there $3,000 cat stolen today on October 25, 2026 did you get them back? I relayed info with the police and they have them on camera but I nosy and also feel bad.

Story: I'm a airbnb cleaner and today I was sent to go clean a apartment. The check out time is at 11 so I showed up at 11:15 to clean. When approaching the door I heard talking, music and a cat meowing( pet free except for service animals). So I called the owner to see if she could call the girl staying there because she wasn't answering the door. No suprise she also wasn't answering the phone, 20 minutes later I knocked again and the music just got louder. I ended up getting someone to answer the door (a guy who was not on the list of check in) said that they should be out in 40 minutes.

The owner of the airbnb was about a hour away and was coming to help kick them out. She is new to hosting so she was unsure about calling the police. When she arrived it was closer to 12:50. She came in and kicked out the lady living there. It didn't go smoothly there was a lot of yelling and missing stuff but they did leave with the cat. (Not knowing it was stolen.) 20 minutes later the cops arrive and ask to look around for a cat. They then told me she stole the cat and it was around $3,000. I'm not sure what cat it was but the person leaving was white female around 5'4 probably 120 pounds black hair and neck tattoos and arm tattoos. She also kinda looks like she was on something or has been on something. If you are the owner to the cat I'm sorry and I hope you could find it. And if you are reading and might know of someone matching the description that just "bought" or is selling a cat please call the local police office.

I've been in Moorhead for only 3 years now and moved from a completely different region of the U.S. I feel a bit dismayed with the lack of information on local candidates from my usual source (Ballotpedia). Many candidates don't even seem to have a website. I've heard just from being here that Del Rae is a well-known (beloved?) character in Moorhead lore, but I don't know anything about her or anybody else running for local office. Can anybody help a lady out with relevant local lore or tea? I'd be grateful for any information shared. Thanks!
