Hi I am currently going through a divorce and thinking of starting fresh in my life. New career, new home etc.

My mom and sister live in England and we have a property here and are mortgage free which is where I have been living. But I'm thinking of moving to Scotland my budget is £100k. I know that isn't enough but just a small flat would be enough. In terms of career I do research and I'm hoping to start My own consultancy. I would love.to hear from people in Scotland on any areas which are good to settle.

I was told aberdeen and Ayr (ayrshire) might be best for my budget.

This will be a property I use to stay in and visit my family sown South frequently.

Any locations close to a city but not far from nature would be ideal..
