Or possibly what show did you stop being a fan of and you felt like this? I experienced this before. The fandom ruined the show for me etc. After leaving it and the show behind, my life honestly got better and I felt this freedom and peace. I wonder if some of you have some similar experiences.

Because while this meme is internationally hyperbolic for comedic effect, I heard humor is a good way for people with opposing ideas to come to an understanding

In the Portal fandom there’s a misconception that Glados is actually Chells mom, this came from an old theory but it’s been repeated so often that people to this day genuinely think it’s cannon

the theory itself makes no sense when you think about it and quickly falls apart when you actually pay attention to the details of the story and characters ( for example the fact they are completely different ethnicities so it’s biologically impossible ) , in fact Chell and Glados’s canonical relationship leans towards romantic ( primarily on Glados’s end ) where the people who actually made the game refer to them in a romantic context and even call their songs “break up” songs

not to mention all the stuff about Chell and Glados we got from the recent valve / steam leaks that happened consisting of the scrapped dinner date Glados prepares for Chell and also Glados being blatantly jealous of Chell for spending time with other robots

The 100 features a Space Station undergoing an Oxygen Crisis due to a breakdown of their atmospheric recyclers. This leads to executions at the drop of a hat, a mandatory one child policy, and the Titular 100 teenagers being exiled to Earth, which is widely believed to be an irradiated wasteland.

Later, we find out the Space Station has exactly one (1) plant confirmed in its entire complex. A tiny Bonsai Tree.

That’s absolutely insane. If you’re having an oxygen crisis, you should be propagating the heck out of that tree. Every flat surface should have a little tree cutting growing on it. Would it cut into the water rations? Yes. But people can survive being slightly dehydrated a lot longer than They can survive being slightly oxygen deprived.
