So is Kah's contract expiring next season? If so, are you guys saying it would be too expensive to keep her and then make a big offer to Plum??

If that's the case, are you saying trade Kah for other players, maybe draft picks and use the $ for above average players instead of gambling on mehish players?

Basically what's the financial situation ​with Plum and Kah that some of you are concerned about and what can we do next season??

How much is the cost of your seats going up for next year?

Renewal notices went out a couple hours ago, and it looks like my seats in the stands didn't go up too much, but my courtside seat is going to be a lot more expensive. As far as I can tell based on the math, it looks like they're planning on 25 home games next season.

If that's correct, my center court seats in row 13 are going from $70/game to $76/game (average) and my courtside seat in center court row C is going from $170/game to $224/game (average).

I’ve been following the W for a few years now. As a Belgian fan, I usually follow Belgian players and end up supporting the teams they play for. This season, Kyara Linskens is in training camp, and I’m really excited to see if she can make the final roster. Even if she doesn’t make it, I’m a big Ayayi fan so I’m here to stay.

One thing that surprised me: this subreddit seems a lot less active than other WNBA team subs in terms of posts and discussion on a post.

Is this just because it’s preseason? Or are Mercury fans more active on the main WNBA subreddit or somewhere else?

I totally expected them to get blown out without AT's playmaking/defensive presence and Kah's scoring. It seemed like with less people in the rotation players were able to settle in more and get comfortable to work through their mistakes. Is that just a coaching issue on Nate Tibbets and he needs to keep players in for longer? Or was it something else? Another thoery I had was that we were able to get better looks because Kah wasn't putting up as many shots with such low efficiency? idk. let me know what you think.

Hi everyone! Is anyone interested in doing a fantasy pool that starts at midseason? This would have a leaderboard based on team performance (+1 point per win) along with point accumulation for end of season awards and playoff performance.

It will be a one time thing that locks after all star break but before the first game on Tuesday July 28.

I asked mods for permission before posting and created a google form for anyone interested to fill out.

That was clean all the way. Maybe she was mad about the entire game and that was the final straw. Reactions like that makes me feel like that holds the WNBA back because that's just a normal steal in the NBA.

I'm taking a trip to LA and thought I would go to a game there, and I am planning to get seats close enough to try and ask for autographs and pics. Are the players just as willing to give autographs in arenas that aren't their home ones, or is it strictly business?

Is one of the online sellers best? Not looking for anything fancy, just to get in the door and watch the game. Or is it best to just buy tickets at the box office before going in?

I don't know how well she's looked or how much competition she has to get on the floor. She's a stretch big that can shoot, post, and drive to the rim. I don't know how that fares on this team but since she left the Valkyries i'm guessing there's a better opportunity in Phoenix.

After the game last night, the PA announcer said finals tickets would be going on sale today and that the Mercury are the top seed - how can that be true if the Aces and Fever haven't concluded their semi-finals run? If the Aces win, wouldn't they be the top seed and hosting us?

I'm fixing to lock in some finals tickets but I don't get how they can be selling tickets if we don't know if we're hosting first or not.
