IMPORTANT INFO How To Request and About Us
Hello! We have had some people asking how they can submit requests to us. We are pretty new to modding subreddits, so things might change as we learn about how to best run this subreddit.
About
Here at r/rainbowbridgebabies, we paint pictures of pets that have passed on. Please be aware that we are doing this for free. Depending on demand, we might not be able to paint everyone’s pets.
Note that judging or mocking someone’s grief will not be tolerated here. Neither will hate speech, violence or inflammatory language. Some of us have exotic pets, like snakes, that some people dislike. We don’t want to hear about it on this subreddit. Whatever the creature, they were someone’s beloved pet. They have a place here. Hatred doesn’t.
To Request
First of all, we here at r/rainbowbridgebabies know how hard it is to lose a beloved family member. We would be honored to take one of your memories and turn it into a treasured keepsake.
Please only submit your pet once every 90 days. If you have a group picture of pets that have passed, please make one request with all the details.
When you post, the title should be Flaired with the REQUEST flair. Please include your pets name. We would also love to hear a little about your pet. Maybe share a memory or two with us? If you are not up to this, or it’s too painful to think about, that’s fine. That part is optional. You should also include a picture. The easiest way to do this is to upload a picture to imgur and copy the link. Then, in your post, surround the text you wish to use as the title for your link with [ brackets. Directly next to it, type ( followed by the URL and then a ).
It should look like this:
[Title.](https://imgur.com/a/iwjwgBu)
And appear like this:
Title.
You can also include whether you would like a particular mod to paint your pet. Please be aware though that if that mod isn’t available to paint your pet for whatever reason, one of the others might give it a shot. That’s about it. Be on the look out for your painting and please leave a thank you within 48 hours of your painting being posted.
Thanking the artist
Please post a thank you, flared with the THANK YOU flair within 48hrs of your painting being posted.

Other
Please let us know as soon as you can after receiving your painting if you would like us to send you the actual painting in the mail. However, you will have to pay for postage. I mainly deal with oil paints which can take weeks to properly dry, so I know for me at least, shipping will take a while. There is no guarantee that the physical copy of your painting will still be available a prolonged period of time after posting. Im already running out of places where I can leave paintings to dry without cats walking across them.
Thank you for your interest in this sub.

IN PROGRESS My baby Licorice
Hey there, I've been wanting to honour my girl for a while, and I was going to do it myself but I'm still grieving, and even just looking at these photos are hard. I had her since she was 6 weeks old straight from the SPCA - she was so tiny and sleepy and could fit in the size of my palm (and I was about 10 at this point too so she was really tiny). I lost her back in May and to say that the grieving process has been rough would be an understatement. If someone could do a painting that does my baby justice that would be so appreciated, I will attach a couple different photos below - I just miss seeing her everyday 🖤

IN PROGRESS On behalf of my aunt
I would like to request a piece done of her Staffy/Lab mix Gracie. She has bone cancer... she's not coming home. She is the sweetest dog I met. Accepted me when I came here, worried over people if they were sick. She was always gentle with her stuffed toys. A little clumsy on the stairs. Loved sunny days to lay in the sunbeams. I just got the news this night... not even 15 minutes ago that she's not coming home. And I know it would mean the world to my Aunt to see her baby dog immortalized.

COMPLETED Luna
My sweet Luna was my best friend for only 8 years but the bond we formed is truly special. Her big round, full-of-love eyes and cute underbite were my favorite thing to look at and it would always make me smile. We loved to go to the beach to watch the sunset together. I miss her so deeply, no words could describe it

When I was getting bullied in second grade I felt no one loved me but I saw her sleeping next to me and 8 year old me felt happy and liked someone like her atleast loved me. I am a troubled teen survivor and when I was at my rtc she would cry for me every night. We would sleep in the same bed and cuddle every night for 16 years. One time I felt again like I was unlovable and she brought me a dead rat to show me how much she loved me.I have known her since I was a kitten living on a military base. She loved gravy Fancy Feast and was addicted to Churu Packets she also loved Tuna.

COMPLETED My sweetheart Juni passed away at 11 years old after a sudden liver complication
He was so silly and so snuggly. He always wanted to lay on my chest and suckle on the fabric of my shirts. As soon as I got home he would meow and demand snuggles before I was allowed to do anything else. He also liked to sit/lay in weird positions that seemed uncomfortable, but he would just chill like that for some reason.
I just miss him so much. He was and always will be my baby boy. I miss you so much Juni.

COMPLETED Requesting Oakley, for my mom
We said goodbye to our sweet boy Oakley recently, after a long battle with kyphosis and a slow decline of his ability to walk. He was a fighter from the beginning and never lost his spunk or silliness. And he was my mom’s baby. She hung the moon in his eyes for over 10 years. He couldn’t handle even being 2 feet away from her.
Two years ago, an incredible artist here was so kind and fulfilled my request for my soul cat that I lost (Callie). It brought me so much comfort to have. I’m hoping to give my mom the same comfort, as she is struggling without her best buddy following her every step. The house is so quiet and strange, without his little snorts and snoring.
Thank you to every artist here for what you selflessly and graciously do. The world could use more kindness like what is always shown here.

COMPLETED Little Tamarind
Tamarind passed away yesterday on the 18th October 2026. I adopted her from Safe Haven Egypt in 2021. She had a TECA a few years ago and she lost her hearing in her left ear. She loved cuddles and the vacuum cleaner and was a super spicy but very affectionate Tortie. She used to scream so loud to remind you she was there. We love and miss her so much 🕊🖤🐱
