is CookSATs free version good?

I’ve been trying to find a way to get good practice questions, and i know everyone says to use the official question bank but it just doesnt feel the same as the actual test like im just looking at a pdf?? Idk if im the only one with this problem

ive seen some people talk about cooksat and i just want to ask if anyone knows if their free version is good? are their questions accurate?

ive also seen khan academy as well, but some people say it’s not actually as hard as the real test

lmk if you guys have any recommendations for question banks. i feel like there’s no good free options

Hey guys, I took my first full length practice test I think also called a diagnostic and I scored a 1240. This was with no studying before, took the psat once but ive never really cared about it before now. Breakdown was 650 on reading 590 on math. What would you guys reccomend I do? And also with that, where do I find resources to study for specific things.

Which month might be considered as final to take SAT?

I'm tending to study in Europe(germany, particularly) as an international student. I wonder if there is some kind of a date for the universities' applications to end. So I can take the previous SAT exam as my last. I don't want to miss the early application deadlines cuz I desperately need a good amount of scholarship.

how to get my SAT score up to 1520+ until the November SAT

Post image

I've been getting the same score more or less for 3 weeks now and it is starting to get really annoying. 1550+ people I don't know what I'm supposed to do anymore I feel like I already did everything. I basically do every grammar question and I only have a few careless mistakes in math sometimes(not always) but as a international student it is really hard to understand the clues on tricky reading questions and module 2 vocab. What am I supposed to do? there is only 13 days or smth left I'm kinda stressed

HELP w/ increasing math score

Hi! I have a 1340 superscore(730 reading and 610 math) from Oct test. I am trying to aim for a 1450 minimum by Nov 7th, and I have been studying, but it’s mainly the practice exams. What resources can I do to improve 110 points in math?

Practice Tests' Module 2 Difficulty

For practice tests 4-11 on bluebook, is module 2 for math and RW a mix of difficulties or the harder or easier module in comparison to real tests?

How are around half of the questions excluded? There are only 8 practice tests..

As far as I'm aware, each practice test contains a Module 1 + A relatively easy Module 2 or the harder one.

So, each practice test contains:
27 questions * 3 modules = 81 questions for RW
22 questions * 3 modules = 66 questions for math

81 questions * 8 practice tests= 648 RW active questions
66 questions * 8 practice tests= 528 Math active questions

1845 total RW questions - 648 active questions = 1197 nonactive questions
1925 total Math questions - 528 active questions = 1397 nonactive questions

Where are the rest??

Giving the SAT hopefully on the 7th, the blue book tests seem a tad bit too easy, any other sites that can help for more accuracy in terms of the actual test difficulty?

Plateaued at 1450 range

I have been studying for the SAT for a while , long enough to be fully done with the practice tests and almost all the English rw questions bank. In all my latest practice tests I broke the 1500 barrier and have been doing that for a while. However, when I’m taking the real exam I cannot achieve a score above 1500 let alone 700 RW. I have been at this weird stage for a while now and I have plateaued at around 1450 with 660-680RW and 790-770 maths I really don’t know what else I could do and I’m in desperate need for advice

What’s the best order to take college board’s practice test?

I’m planning to take all the practice tests but I’m not sure about the difficulty level of each one and don’t want to end up leaving the hardest ones till last. If anyone has completed all of them what do you think is the best order to take them? And are there any which can be left out?

Got my SAT in about 10 days and rn M stuck in 1100s and M aiming for a 1500. Ik it sounds unrealistic to jump a +400 in such less time but if any of you got any tips for me to improve and achieve 1500 or closer to it, it'd truly mean a lot to me. M extremely worried cause I really need a good score in order to get into a good uni abroad. I'd be really grateful if your tips help me in that!!!

Is 10 days enough?

I have to take the sat with very little math knowledge, i was told khan academy prep would be of great help but my question is, would 10~ days of prep be enough to score about 550 in the math section for someone with very basic knowledge of maths? If there’s any other sources or anything that might be helpful send it over aswell!

Tips for score increase from middle 1300’s to low 1500’s

Hello everybody. My son took his first SAT as a junior in this August and scored a 1350 with his math being into the low 700’s and and English in the low 600’s. He decided to practice throughout September and take the October SAT, but he came back saying it was extremely difficult. His score then decreased to 1340 with his math being in the high 700’s and English in the high 500’s. As a parent, I was super concerned and worried about his English score falling. Currently, his dream score is 1520, and he is taking the December SAT as his last final one. He has been practicing from the question bank and he has been going to tutoring for a year now. He also finished all the blue book practice tests. I don’t know what to expect anymore, but I would like to know what other resources are there to practice from on the internet. Are there any tips for vocab section and the the long graph/table questions in the reading section? How often do you guys think he should be practicing as he is pretty busy with soccer after school every week for an hour or two? What makes the real difference for almost a 200 point jump in one month for the SAT?

SAT Studying Extension

I created an SAT studying Chrome extension. All you need to do is go to this link (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/sat-question-bank-tracker/eeinjoeegjkhiddemncmbbgianhliopi) and download the extension. And then, go to this link (https://satsuiteeducatorquestionbank.collegeboard.org/) for a ton of free study problems. This got me from a 1370 to a 1560. Hope this helps!

Should I submit a 1240?

UVA is my dream school and I got a 1240 on the sat…their 50% range is 1410-1540

I have good extracurriculars and a 4.19 weighted gpa. I’m doing ED and in-state

Everywhere I look it says go test optional but i’m still on the fence about it. My friend last year got a similar score and got it but please let me know cause apps are due soon.
