Currently spinning Nothing Lasts Forever. Curious how they’re viewed back home in the UK—are they treated like legends, or are they more of a cult indie band over there?

One of the best albums from the 80’s for me.
Still keeping the tape that I bought on them. Still listen to this album on CD.

I've relaunched the Rave Child Glasgow Gig Listings page and it's more comprehensive than ever: the aim is to list every music event in Glasgow. Currently it lists a shade over 2,000 shows across 130 venues, constantly updated, with tonight’s gigs always at the top. You can view it here: https://ravechild.co.uk
To go along with this I am publishing daily and weekly recommendations from the listings via the Rave Child Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ravechildglasgow/
On top of this we have Everybody Wants to Play the Hits which you may be aware of as we are nearly at episode 50, but if you are not it's a roundtable new Scottish music review podcast we run alongside SNACK Mag. The show goes out on a monthly basis, with a top guests every episode, between four people we pick two new Scottish tracks each listen to them and talk about what we think, you can listen on your favourite podcast platform here: https://linktr.ee/ewtpth
On top this we have our Best New Scottish Music Playlist, which does exactly what it says on the tin, I listen to all the new Scottish music I can source on a weekly basis and deliver my recommendation in one place. You can listen here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5vorHLZnpbnQJDg7SXXcoZ?si=33422f7166ed468f

This is a short clip of TheFloorDwellers opening Freakender Festival with an original song called 'Death of Pop'.
Upcoming gigs:
Glasgow- 18th of December- Mchuilles
Edinburgh- 4th November - Sneaky Pete's
Their Instagram will post more dates for gigs and a release date for two original singles with an album in the works.
It's shameless self promotion - I know - but venues only look at follower count these days so the Instagram name is TheFloorDwellers or the link is below.

Didn't realise their was a subreddit for Scottish music, so felt like this should be here!
Too Red are a duo from Glasgow (I think), they sound like a mix between Royal Blood and The Pretty Reckless. I've seen them live a few times over the last year and for two people they are LOUD. Both my pal and I feel like we've been lucky to see them before they go huge.

This band is still not getting enough love.
I have the debut and their second cassettes which I loved so much.
Every song makes me smile. Their accent, the music, the lyrics.
And they are still recording ! That’s a celebration on any band after nearly 40 years.
