Few teams needed a good start to the season more than the Seattle Kraken.

Thoroughly disappointed internally after missing the playoffs for the fourth time in five years, which culminated in a brutally honest news conference last spring, the Kraken needed to come out of the gates in decent form, and that’s exactly what’s transpired.

At 7-4-1 as they prepare to host the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday night, the Kraken are producing good vibes early on in the Pacific Northwest.

“We’ve been happy with our start here,” Jason Botterill, general manager and executive vice president of the Kraken, told The Athletic on Tuesday. “(With) the short camp, we really appreciated that a lot of guys came back here early and got acclimated. Having (coach) Lane (Lambert) back here for the second year meant not having to go through implementing a new structure. It was building off things from last year.

“So I think that’s allowed us to have a good start to the season.”

Again not confirmed as of yet, but coming from the group of users that have released all of the confirmed leaks this morning. The teaser from yesterday hints heavily at a anchor crest instead of the usual S-logo.

Description: "Seattle uses a dark navy as its based, with cream striping that has an embossed pattern reminiscent of the city flag, which also creates a nautical rope pattern."

Edit: Based off the teaser yesterday + description above, i think they've got the colors/stripes/fonts confirmed, but not the crest

Hey everyone,
I’ve been hunting for a pair of the warm-up pucks from this season’s home opener since that game.

That game (Oct 4 vs Calgary) was my girlfriend and my anniversary game. (First date was on the 29th of Sep, 2025 to the Kraken game against Calgary)

Unfortunately, I got to the table where they were selling the game-used warm up pucks one person too late last game (against the wild) and the person in front of us bought the last Calgary puck.

If anyone has one or two 2026 home-opener warm-up pucks that they’d be willing to sell or trade tickets to games for, please reach out via comment or DM and let’s set something up.

In the meantime thanks in advance and LFG Kraken!

"Seattle has always been my home. It's always been my anchor, so I’m excited to see it take center stage." 👀

Glad to see the boys are there to support Seattle sports!

So glad I decided to watch! 😍

Just seen that they've released tickets for the Friday open practice while the boys are in Finland 🦑🦑

Painful loss last night, but 4 points out of 6 this week is still good progress.

Friedman reported on Saturday that Washington is open to trading former 1st round pick winger Ivan Miroshnichenko, who is waivers-eligible at 22 but can't consistently crack the Caps roster.

I only bring it up due to McCann's 10 week injury opening up a roster spot and Lambert has shown that he doesn't trust guys like Nyman or Firkus to play regular NHL minutes. Nyman got called up over the weekend but was a healthy scratch against Minnesota.

PuckPedia's depth chart - Curtis Douglas played 5:17 against Minnesota

My wife and I had lots of sticker ideas, and now we've got extras to give away! I'm not selling these, just happy to hand them to excited fans. 🦑

If you're going to the game tonight, I'll hang out during intermission along the wall near the Modelo bar in the lower level. You'll know it's me by the black water bottle covered in these stickers. First come, first served, cause I can only carry so many. ⚓️

If you can't make it tonight, I'm at almost every home game, so if folks are into it, I'll keep em coming! And if you're feeling similarly crafty I'd love to see your work, too! 🥅

Ran into a Kraken rep at Geek Girl Con today and he was talking about the two geeky themed nights that they have coming up. I felt like this Naruto jersey was something this particular reddit would need to know about (however I will personally be first in line for the Snoopy night they’re apparently having in March)
