🙌 Guide on how to use r/studying

Here’s how to get the most out of the sub:

  • Read the rules. They are very easy to follow and will make your participation, as well as that of other users, much more comfortable, enjoyable, and productive.
  • Be specific in questions. “How do I study the English literature in three weeks?” is better than “How do I study?”
  • Search before posting. Your question may already have an answer. It's better to spend a few minutes searching than to have your post removed.
  • Engage thoughtfully. Share insights, offer help, and contribute kindly. And please remember to be a human.
  • Keep everything relevant. Your posts must relate to studying, productivity, motivation, or aspects of student life.
  • Use the Wiki (coming soon!) for detailed guides, FAQs, and trusted resources.

Where do people buy book reports nowadays

• Upvotes

Biochem major here, so analyzing political memoirs makes zero sense to me. The submission closes Sunday night and I didnt touch the reading because lab exams ate my week.

Most sites on Google look completely sketchy. I messaged one book review writing service earlier, but their support felt like an untrained bot that ignored my rubric.

Who can write a book report for me without charging eighty bucks? Just need decent coherent writing, nothing fancy.

Help

I have created a simple website for study groups, where you can book video sessions with people who share the same interests or field of study. You can study together, or simply find a study partner to join you while you work. I am looking for volunteers to test the site and share their feedback.

4 months to GRE and my vocabs cards are lying to me

mid January test. quant plan is boring but fine. Vocab is the weird one.

I can look at the Manhattan 500 list and recognize almost everything. Put one of those words into sentence equivalence and suddenly I am meeting it for the first time. So the deck says I know it and PowerPrep says absolutely not.

has anyone fed their own vocab notes into an ai quiz generator and gotten decent usage questions rather than "define laconic" over and over? keeping the list either way, just need something on top of it. recs appreciated

Study/Focus group

Hey everyone!
I’m currently working on my master’s thesis, and I’ve noticed I’m much more productive when someone else is around - even if we’re each doing our own thing. When I’m alone, it’s way too easy to get distracted by my phone or just about anything else😅
So I thought I’d see if anyone would be interested in a small online study / focus group. The idea is to meet at agreed times, perhaps on Discord, and spend some time working on our own tasks together.
It doesn’t have to be studying! You could work on your thesis, tackle paperwork, do household chores, or finally get around to something you’ve been putting off. The point is simply to make it easier to get started and stay focused while having some company.

Struggling with procrastination and finding study methods that actually work? Join the UK's biggest study group 📚

Hey everyone,

If you're trying to optimize your revision, struggling to stick to a timetable, or just trying to figure out study methods that actually make information stick, it can be really tough doing it all on your own.

I run The Resit Room—originally built for gap year and resit A-Level students, it has grown into the biggest Discord study community in the country. It's the perfect place to build better study habits, stay accountable, and get advice from people grinding through the exact same subjects.

Here is what we focus on:

  • 🧠 Study Methods & Strategies: We have dedicated channels to share active recall techniques (blurting, spaced repetition, Anki decks) and figure out the most efficient ways to tackle heavy content.
  • 🎙️ 24/7 Study VCs: Jump into our virtual library sessions for "body doubling." If you lack discipline, turning on your camera (or just your screen share) in a muted room of other students is the ultimate way to beat procrastination.
  • ⏱️ Yeolpumta (YPT) & Accountability: Track your daily study hours, join our group Pomodoro sessions, and compete on our server leaderboards to stay motivated.
  • 📂 Resource Sharing: Swap revision notes, templates, and essay plans to save time making them from scratch.

Whether you need a new revision strategy, study templates, or just a massive group of people to keep you accountable every day, we’d love to have you.

Come say hi! 👉https://discord.gg/47nH4VWJjN

I think I finally worked out a system to write my coursework and where to get the help I need.

My primary goal with this post is finding and discus about real assistance because finding a coursework writing service seems like the most sensible path forward right now. As I'm writing it, I realize there's no way I can handle this completely on my own. In a way, that was to be expected, because writе my coursework is by no means an easy task.

My biggest issue is organizing messy thoughts into clear paragraphs that actually meet the departmental prompt. It's also often hard for me to gather and analyze data. I list everything I need, but afterwards I struggle to organize it or determine if it's genuinely useful. A coursework writing service steps in right there. Instead of staring into space for hours, you get a clean framework to reference. You see how arguments flow together, how evidence supports each claim, and how to connect background points without getting lost in unnecessary fluff. A buddy in my hall casually brought up PapersRoo during lunch, which made me realize how common this route is. Having that concrete reference gives you a starting line so you avoid freezing up completely. Having that consultation, standard help with the structure, and just basic support makes a huge difference. Even for my peace of mind.

Having someone write my coursework as an initial model solves the freeze-up completely. It lets you learn the pacing of an academic argument from a finished piece rather than guessing blindly in the dark.

If your schedule is backed up, testing a coursework writing service provides genuine relief and clarity. Getting someone to write my coursework functions like having an older student show you the ropes when office hours are booked solid. Just take that provided text, study the core arguments carefully, and rework the sections in your own voice. It works.

Study block keeps dying at the hard paragraph

Exam in two weeks and I keep quitting the second a page gets dense. I’m not even tired, I just stare at one sentence, open my phone, and I’m gone.

Right now it’s mostly stats notes plus a couple of long review articles. Flashcards are fine but the reading part is the mess. I’ll highlight half a page and the next day have no idea why.

Do you push through the stuck sentence or skip and come back? And is a 25-minute block even worth it if the page is this slow?
