🤬 Rant/Complaint 2026 Draft

Post image
6 Upvotes

The Texans would’ve drafted better using the ESPN big board then using caserio’s bad biased scouting. We lost valuable capital in moving up 2 spots for Rutledge.

Lomu is already proving to be an above-average lineman in New England. We still could have made the Kayden McDonald trade as that required trading pick 91. Anthony Hill over Klein was an obvious choice. Pregnon was rated higher than Rutledge and could have been had at pick 69 easily since he fell to the late 3rd round.

There is no excuse for this and wasting the final year of Will and CJ’s rookie deals. Caserio needs to be fired.

Fairy tail story is over. . Love Demeco but Texans need an offensive guy at the helm. Still enough pieces to turn this around on defense next year

🤬 Rant/Complaint Anyone else watching Pierce score a TD with the Eagles?

I don’t think it would make a huge difference but watching him play now I wonder if we should’ve kept him

Caserio and DeMeco were handed one of the best rebuild setups in the history of football

This team stockpiled for years to give the new regime one of the best setups ever. Making the playoffs was the floor, not the ceiling. If you're going to evaluate them, grade them against what these resources should have produced, not against how bad things used to be.

Where is the best place to resell Texans merch

First off, mods if this is not allowed feel free to delete it. I'm not trying to sell anything.

I was at an estate sale recently and bought a 50 gallon container of merchandise from the Texans inaugural season. Along with some stuff from the Super bowl that was held here. I already have all of those things so they are duplicates. Is there a sports memorabilia place that would buy them? I thought about listing them on eBay. I thought I'd ask here in case someone knew of a local place.

Patriot South

This was a typical patriots south ego game by nick caley and the front office... he was going to run the ball no matter what to showcase to the leauge we can be dominant upfront.

Truth is we are playing for the afc south title and thats it, this game didnt mean anything because nic caserio is playing chess when we are all playing checkers.

Coaching is just pathetic all around

🤬 Rant/Complaint Nico Collins

Can someone explain why the team refuses to use me of the best receivers?

I get that this team has a plethora of receivers but for the first half of last game I think Nico saw one target. The game before he saw like 3 targets the first 3 quarters and in the 4th quarter was when he started getting looks and he capitalized on them.

What am I missing here?

Caserio wants to blame the Coaching, Demeco wants to blame the Players. I wonder who wins

🤬 Rant/Complaint DeMeco Ryans

Once again, the sub is flooded with DeMeco hate. His 4th season, and he’s won double digit games each preceding season. 3 of the 4 seasons started 0-3 or worse and won a playoff game each time. DeMeco is NOT the problem. He has the highest winning percentage in franchise history and the most playoff wins in franchise history. How about you let DeMeco have A losing season before you bury him.

What’s wrong with the defense? The Hell if I know. More than just the play-calling, it’s been the play. Seems like the pass rush has taken (multiple) steps back (where’s the defense that sacked Josh Allen 8x in a game last yr?). Combine that with Lassiter (frequently) getting cooked and Stingley Jr getting beat way too much for an elite CB (I will never forget Josh Allen, in his own endzone, throwing up a bomb to a fucking TE in man coverage with Stingley). Al-Shaair has been in and out and it shows at times because he hasn’t played at a consistent level and the middle is far too frequently wide open.

Offense is better but still not consistently ā€œgoodā€. Still too obvious on the early down and short yardage run plays that go no where. Feels like we waste 1st and sometimes 2 down, each possession, just to pick up 3 yards on a run and can’t consistently pick up yards on the ground when needed. Way too many flags but when you have a patchwork young oline, of course there are. It’s why most elite teams, dedicate tons of resources to the oline.

Fairbairn has been lights out which really matters down the stretch. CJ is probably playing his best season, but he’s still good for a few stupid decisions. Twice he threw yolo balls yesterday. One was dropped in OT by the Giants (Thibadeaux I think) and the other was the next play, into a crowd, that hit Marvin Harrison (?) in the hands (it was holding anyway). Harrison also dropped a deep bomb in the 4th that was a bit overthrown but still hit his hands. I think Tank only played 2 snaps in the first half and not a ton in the 2nd. Once he gets more run and with the improvement of Hutchinson/Noel and getting something out of Marv, will free up Nico. Turning teams into needing to pass to keep up, will allow for more opportunities to force turnovers and sacks, hopefully.

This team WILL make the playoffs this yr. Not ā€˜could’ —WILL. 11-6 or 12-5 will be enough. 10-7 might, but I think 11-6 is the floor. It won’t matter if the defense doesn’t turn around. Teams are no longer afraid to come into Houston and throw and run all over. Anderson and Hunter are gonna have to start dominating again.

Should marv get more snaps??

Marv seamed to do well on his limited snaps and receiver rotation as well for his second game. his first reception was a td. His 2nd trgt was overthrown and so was his third. My question is how would he fit into WR room. There is a stacked room and I see a wr getting traded as well. He played 13 snaps ang got targeted on 4 of them. One was a td, 2 overthrown, and then one fuck it pass by cj stroud that almost gave me a heart attack. I think marv should get more snaps and be a wr2, with collins and noel.

Should the Texans have opted to kick the ball first?

It seems like knowing that you need a touchdown forces the offense to play the offensive sets as 4 down situation as opposed to being conservative and hoping your defense holds up. I don’t know, just curious everyone’s thoughts EDIT: I thought we won the coin toss so this is irrelevant. However interesting to note if we go to overtime again

🤬 Rant/Complaint Should we have gone for 2 vs Giants?

It was an ugly day for the offense and the defense was its usual shit self for most of the game. We had momentum scoring a TD late and we already converted a 2 point try before. It would’ve been a gusty call.

🤬 Rant/Complaint There is a good chance fans dont see a single win at home this season.

Colts - TNF - beat us already. And we suck at prime time

Ravens - Lamar is getting healthy and they have a competent team

Jaguars - revenge game for beating them in London. Good win for them to get for them to place well in playoff picture

Titans - last game of the season. Never count out a bad team that wants to end of a strong note.

🤬 Rant/Complaint Question for Texans Fanbase?

Post image
26 Upvotes

After yesterday's game and our record dropping to 2-5, the fanbase seems completely divided—or at least that's how it feels. Some fans want C.J. out of here, others want DeMeco fired, and some are pointing fingers at the OC or the GM. Meanwhile, a few even want to tear everything down and start fresh. In which of these scenarios would you, as a fan, be the most unhappy?

A. C.J. gets a big extension
B. C.J. wants out
C. Caley gets fired
D. Caley stays
E. DeMeco gets an extension
F. DeMeco gets fired
G. Caserio stays
H. Caserio gets fired
