Any ideas on some glue besides eyelash glue I have been using for the thread and buttons?

Never been good at doing makeup on other ppl but im really proud of this one :)

Following everyone’s advice, I got the Mehron Paradise AQ face paint in Light Green! It applied really nicely and was super easy to wash off.

I’m pretty new to makeup and still learning, so I'd love some tips on how to get a smoother green base. The paint emphasized my skin texture a bit more than I’d like. I see people on TikTok with super seamless Gamora looks (though maybe that's just a retouch filter?), so I want to improve my technique!

I didn't use a primer which maybe was the issue, and I also didnt use powder. But I just picked up the Ben Nye translucent setting powder today. A few questions for the pros:

• What order should I apply everything in for a smooth good base?
• Would a good moisturizer help beforehand?
• Which primer brands work best under water-based face paint to smooth out texture?

Also, please be totally honest—how does it look in the photo? My family said it looked good (and trust me, they’d tell me if it didn't!), but it definitely looks a bit harsher on camera than it did in person. What do you all think? Im aware the silver markings look a bit sloppy lol. I was more focused on the green base I plan to try to do it more precise on halloween! I just got too excited.

Played a show like this last night! Halloween week as an excuse to go more nuts with the face makeup.

Does anyone here use a makeup airbrush for their makeup? I'm wanting to do sfx and horror style makeup and want to try with face pants and airbrushing (especially since the haunted house I work at uses). Does anyone have a good rec for an airbrush kit? I wanted something easy/simple, with all the pieces/a good selection of colors. Does anyone know of anything like that?
