From Jason's FB VFU Post:
In the last few days a lot of people have contacted me wanting to buy a UVMC2 cart. I have other things I should spend the money on right now lol.
So depending on level of interest I may do a preorder.
For a good deal low cost run to break even I need to sell 40 carts.
For anyone who is truly interested say so in the comments below.
If at least 40 are interested i can send each of you a message with payment information. Please tag people that may be interested
$40 for the cart pcb + shipping $8 USA $25 international (sorry international shipping has become more expensive). 3d printed shells are an additional $5 or you can print one yourself.

WOW am I surprised at the amount of interest in this cart. I was originally not sure if even 40 people would be interested in another run. the original plan was to sell 40 to break even on an order of 120 but so far as of 10/3/26 there have been 250 carts sold!! I had to change the order from 120 to 240 and now 360 carts!!. the 3 week to ship time frame is still in place and my wife is still taking orders. she is putting a thumbs up next to peoples comments on this post and replying to messages you send to me.

please STOP ordering UVMC2 carts! lol
sorry to make another post but for some reason I cannot edit the original preorder post.
I did not expect this to get so crazy and if I take anymore I will not meet the promised 3 week ship time.
Give me about 3 weeks and I will do another preorder or maybe 5 weeks or so and I will have more to ready to ship.
If my wife sent you a message to pay and you have not already paid please do not pay now lol.
Also a few people have sent me money without giving me an address. if you get refunded it is because my wife can't hunt you down to get your address.
I am sorry I will have more in the future. I just don't want to get buried and let people down.

UVMC2 update
the cart pcbs are in the mail and i should have them by Monday ish. 2-3 more days after Monday for final assembly and i will start shipping immediately after that . the real bottle neck is the 3d printed shells. as of now i about 1/3 of the shells are printed. it takes maybe 3-5? minutes to program each cart so i plan to have several computers programming carts at once.
Q: "how can i join the "list" for the next run"
A, Jason Kopp: "i will post here and on vfu when i have more"
