Built for BOSS SP-202 gear, but it emulates a standard SmartMedia 5V card, so it will work in a QuickTake 200. It has a serial port over USB-C and open source firmware ( and a web app)
Looking for devs and QuickTake owners to test it and hack on it. Who’s in?

I am having an issue where on the press of the power button you can hear a buzz from under the touchpad, but it doesn’t boot. Anyone ever have this issue? I really hope it isn’t an issue with the pmu. Edit: For more info, the issue is intermittent and I am also using an aftermarket charging cable. The battery is completely dead on the Ibook additionally.

After many failed attempts to repair bad 840AV boards, I found one nearly pristine. Looks like new old stock for repairs, only the small two caps show leakage and it boots with no issues. Will still need recapping to prevent damage and the board is dirty.
Q: Is washing in an ultrasonic bath after recapping a good idea for these? I don't want to damage anything in the bath, so I can also clean it manually.
