CrossPointe Church is deleting Google reviews
After they got in bed with a candidate who platforms and protects child abusers, they had a slew of reviews calling out their obvious moral failures. All those reviews have disappeared.

Best Mexican Food Near Westerville
My husband's birthday is Friday and he requested Mexican food for dinner! We are newer to Westerville and don't go eat out. I was looking up places but just kept seeing food trucks. I would love recommendations for a good sit down restaurant!

Fourth Friday
Just wondering which church everyone chose from many selections….
And I didn’t know 3D printed stuff was so expensive!

3,160 votes. 99.9% passed. 4 disagreements in 4 years. My county commissioners don't deliberate — they announce.

I want to know everything about Huber Ridge
My husband and I are looking at buying in the next year and love the Westerville area. We have soon to be 4 kids. I am white, my husband and kids are Hispanic and we are rasing them bilingual. Though we do plan to homeschool through elementary, the school system is important.
If you were a young family would you move to this area? What are pros and cons?

Fence Permit
General question - Anyone put in a privacy fence without submitting a permit? I don’t have a plot of our house. I read the rules and plan to put up a basic 6ft privacy fence in the backyard. Nothing outlandish. Just didn’t know if folks who DIY stuff all submit for permits.

Given one by the Vet but purchased one without knowing. Anyone need it? Live near the park east of Kohls in Westerville.

Who is this man?
Since he doesn't believe residents of Westerville should have any privacy, I'd love to know who he is so he doesn't have any either. With this facial hair I'm sure someone recognizes him.
Recording children, elderly and making everyone feel uncomfortable by the bus stop on state street and schrock around 2pm.

China Garden Buffet
Can anyone say how similar the China Garden Buffet in Westerville is to the Chinese Buffet that used to be in Graceland?
I know it’s not gourmet cuisine, but I lived near Graceland for a few years and absolutely loved that buffet.

Barbershops that will do designs in buzzed hair?
Sorry for the weird title, I just wasn't sure how else to phrase it!
I recently got an undercut and when I talked to my stylist about having her trim a design into it (a spiderweb) she recommended I check out a barbershop instead, and said they'd likely have more experience or a better comfort level with cutting designs into buzzed hair.
Would anyone have any recommendations for a Westerville barbershop that would be able to trim designs into my undercut?

Amy Acton Signs
Hello Neighbors, does anyone have an extra Amy Acton yard sign? I signed up to get some at the last 4th Friday, but haven’t received them. Or does anyone know where I can get some fast?

Westerville Friends! You’re Invited to a Faith & Freedom Town Hall 🇺🇸🙏
Our own Laura M. has been spreading the word about an upcoming town hall with Vivek Ramaswamy, and everyone is welcome. It’s especially meaningful to our family because it’s being held at my momma’s church, CrossPointe and is pretty accessible.
We’re blessed to have exciting things happening right here in our community, especially with the growth of AI, NVIDIA, and our very own Westerville-based Vertiv. My poppa follows Ramaswamy’s disclosed investments, and it’s an exciting time for Ohio’s economy, technology, and investment opportunities. Perfect time to jump in on the excitement if you have not as Vivek is excited about these too.
Vertiv already collaborates with NVIDIA on the power and cooling infrastructure supporting AI data centers. We have friends in temp agencies who expect more agencies to increase these jobs there too.
With all this growth happening practically in our backyard, there’s plenty to discuss about the economic opportunities, electricity costs, and what it all means for Westerville families or any of us invested in this growth. PTL! 🙏
Event details:
📅 Tuesday, October 20, 2026
📍 CrossPointe Church, 119 N. Cleveland Ave., Westerville
🕟 Doors open at 4:30 PM
🎤 Program begins at 5:30 PM
🙋 Audience questions from 6–7 PM
🎟️ Free admission
Information and registration:
https://vivekforohio.com
Please register if you plan to attend!
P.S. I saw these concerns pop up in my momma’s group…Laura is hosting the event at CrossPointe. The church is not an official sponsor, but I’m grateful to our church member helping make this gathering possible.
oh and there will be no gift card raffle like before with our own Westerville council members…this is on Vivek’s official calendar.
If you can’t make it you might bump into our friend as an excited new poll worker. Make sure to vote! GOD BLESS And BLessings for our leaders🇺🇸✝️

Harassed on my walk…
Westerville has been a huge part of my life. I went to high school, attended college, and even worked here. I’ve always considered it a place where I felt safe and at home.
Recently, I was taking my usual afternoon walk while wearing my hijab when a car honked at me. When I looked over, a man who looked around 60 years old stuck his middle finger up at me.
I was honestly shocked and uncomfortable. I was simply minding my own business, and I couldn’t help but feel like I was targeted for wearing my hijab.
Ever since then, I haven’t felt as safe going on walks. It genuinely makes me sad because I’ve spent so much of my life in this small city, and now I see it differently.
I know one person doesn’t represent an entire community, but it still hurts to feel unwelcome somewhere you’ve called home for so long.
Has anyone else experienced something similar in Westerville?
