Art is by 12radish on tumblr.
My favorite is “There's a tree," Starflight said, jumping to his feet. "In the forest."
"No way," Glory said. "A tree in the forest?”

My mother looked up if it's LGBT, I've read all of the books, I honestly don't mind Sundew and Willow's relationship, Jambu and Pineapple's and Tamarin and Anemone's. but my mom doesn't like the LGBT. I do, though. but now she decided to sell the books. I have the Graphic Novels up to 8 and the Original books up to 15.
WHY, MOM, IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL.
Edit: I also never told her that I'm a Therian, and I'm not planning on doing so :<
Edit #2 Also is anyone willing to send me pictures of the Pages of graphic Novels of Books 9 And 10? (When it comes out) I really want to at least read the pages

If you look at the meaning of your name, what tribe would you most likely find a dragon with that name?
My name is Sienna, which is a red-brown colour, so I’d either be a Skywing or a Mudwing
If you need any help with this let me know!

I really have no clue what I would make uncanon. As for canon, maybe changing MudWing parenting to be more like Gharials, where the father, and probably their sibling group, take care of the dragonets until they bigwings is big enough to take care of their sib group.
Hopefully this is allowed.

Mudwings are objectively cool. Some can walk through lava, those that can are born of bloody eggs and cant be affected by fire. all of them can hide in water for up to an hour with no risk of bright scales giving them away as long as its sufficiently dark. They’re the biggest and strongest of all the 10 tribes. They can fling a huge ass crocodile at a flying dragon from the bottom of a swamp for crying out loud (see: not Turtle as hes not in the crocodile throwing business and is also not a mudwing). Their scales are prettier than most people give them credit for and are definitely underrated because everyone else has brighter scales or can change colors or have special powers. So they don’t get a chance to stand out as much and are unfairly type case as boring brown blobs.
All of that not even touching on their social structures, mudwing sibs are amazingly tight-knit and so loyal to each other so much so that not a single queen have ever been challenged by one of their sibs. A position of power that has started countless wars to claim its throne and has taken countless lives isn’t even a factor of contention in mudwing sib groups. And they are one of the most skilled tribes, given a troupe of mudwings has to know enough to get by by themselves with no parental or romantic relationships, they preform much better in different areas of expertise than any other group of dragons. They spend their entire lives around each other. They have room to be more proficient with their skill sets. They don’t need to know everything about everything they can specialize in many different areas and relay on their sibs to fill in on other specialties
There are definitely a lot of problems with mudwing society as a whole but ever tribe has its flaws.
Plus they look cool as hell in blue jewelry and isn’t that what matters?
I know a lot of the hate / distaste with mudwings has to do with how they’re constantly portrayed in the books as clumsy dim-witted visionary-boring dragons due to the dragon racism. But it’s time to really stop underestimating and underrating mudwings
#end-mudwing-racism
To end this, send in your favorite mudwings! Ocs or canon!!! Let’s show our appreciation for mudwings!
(Please forgive any typos im currently half blind and doing my best)

Question is self explanatory. What is a plothole or writing choice that you either don't like or causes uncomfortable aspects to the story, and how you would fix it.
My one is the fact that ALL HiveWings are descended from Clearsight, which causes the basis for a ton of implications (mainly incest). My fix would be Clearsight leading a bunch of NightWings with her to Pantala, and all of them hybridised with the BeetleWings to make HiveWings. That would explain the many NightWing features still left on the HiveWings, and take away the implied inbreeding. As for the worshiping, the BeetleWings may see Clearsight as the NightWing Queen/Leader, and thank her for saving their tribe and creating the HiveWings

With the show on the horizon I’ve been wondering a lot about what will have to get changed, we’ve already heard Tui say she even regrets some of what she wrote specifically because they can’t include it (I don’t remember where)

For example, Tsunami having blue blood in The Flames of Hope. My reasoning, is that the glow-y spots of SeaWings are full of some sort of light blue fluid or gel. When Tsunami got cut, the gel burst, and Luna mistook it for blood with her limited knowledge of SeaWing biology

How do rainwings turn their horns invisible?
At first I thought they are like horned lizards and that scales continue even on their horns but some panels seem to suggest otherwise
In the second image the line where the scales end and the horn begins makes me think they don't continue until the end. Maybe it's revealed in the future, I am just finishing ark 10.
Same question can be applied to their nails.
