Society Do such algerian men exist or am I delusional

23f here, Im lately drowning in work, organizing my stuff and trying to accumulate money. Although i have little to no time at all, I sometimes talk to people online to know more about my preferences so later on when I choose my partner I know I chose the right one. I have too much to say and I dont mind being judged cause at the end of the day to each their own preferences. But my type of man is quite impossible to find and what I mostly want is an algerian guy who shares the same ideologies as me ( i only find algerian men attractive and i want to make jokes in pur dialect lol), I am not religious and I don't want to marry a religious guy cause that would be a relationship so impossible to maintain. I want someone as ambitious as I am cause laziness or fully depending on the other partner is not it for me. I want someone who is willing to travel the world and be very excited to visit new places together and not complain about meticulous details or get angry easily but rather want to truly enjoy life thinking that being alive is the most beautiful gift. I am extremely positive so I wish for a positive partner. I also think its very important to have mutual interests, enjoying almost the same type of music and movies. I would love to support eachother and always make sure our mental health is very crucial and never betray or destroy our trust in eachother. Also I would really love to adopt orphans instead of giving birth cause I am afraid of postpartum and anything regarding giving birth yet I adore having kids which is another impossible thing to find a man totally agreeing on. Now after you all have read this. I know it may sound as a dm me svp lol yet i am truly in need to know if such ppl do exist and if algerian women who have almost the same preferences as me did succeed in finding one specially if they have no time for encountering. Thank you for your valuable time

Question Is It safe to trade Crypto in Algeria ?

Post image
• Upvotes

Is there any reliable and safe platform for crypto trading?

By “safe,” I mean a platform where you don’t wake up one day to find your account frozen or blocked while your money is still in it.

I’ve been practicing crypto trading for a while, and now I’m considering investing around $1,000 (approximately 250,000 DA at the black-market exchange rate).

My main concern is that cryptocurrency is illegal in Algeria, so I’m worried about what could happen if the platform suddenly restricts my account or the government decides to block access to it.

For those of you trading crypto from Algeria:

  • Which platforms do you use, and what are the common issues I may face ?
  • What would you recommend to minimize the risk of having your account frozen or losing access to your money?
  • What’s your backup plan if your account gets blocked or the platform becomes inaccessible in Algeria?

I’d appreciate advice from people with real experience, especially those who have been trading from Algeria for a while. I want to understand the risks and have a solid backup plan before investing my money. Thank you in advance.

We've been telling y'all and you keep saying "it happens everywhere". No it doesn't.

I myself have traveled to many countries and in my entire life across Asia Europe and Africa, I have only been harassed by Arab men: Algerian, Tunisian, Syrian.

There is a problem with our disgustingly misogynist societies.

Discussion From Delivery Guy to Tech Lead & Startup Founder: Never Give Up

Hello everyone, I wanted to share my story with you, in case someone here is going through a tough time and needs a bit of hope.

I studied Computer Science. Back in university, to cover my expenses and take care of myself, I worked as a delivery guy. I used to carry the delivery bag on my back, study during the day, and when I came home exhausted at night, I wouldn't give up. I spent my time learning programming on my own and working on small projects—sometimes for people who didn't appreciate it, or even for free—just to gain experience and build a portfolio.

I graduated thinking things would be easy and a job was just waiting for me. That’s when reality hit hard. Things got so overwhelming that at one point, I went through 5 job interviews in a single day, and got rejected in all of them! Yes, five interviews in one day. The feeling of devastation at that moment is indescribable; I felt like all my effort, time, and health during university went down the drain, with nothing to show for it.

But I didn't stop. I doubled down on my self-development, learned Automation and tool development, and focused on solving complex problems. That exact skill is what opened doors for me and allowed me to stand out and get accepted with confidence.

Today, I work in an international company, and I even got a promotion in a very short period thanks to working smart through automation. Not only that, but using the experience I gained, I developed custom tools and software for production and manufacturing that saved massive amounts of time and effort.

And thank God, where am I now? I am seriously thinking about launching my own startup, especially since I've found people interested in the vision, and my first clients who trusted my skills have started showing up.

The takeaway from my story: University alone isn't enough, and initial rejections don't mean it's the end of the world. Focus on practical skills like automation and solving real-world problems. There are challenges, but there are also real opportunities for those who refuse to stay down and never give up hope.

Never lose hope, and best of luck to everyone. ❤️

Question Done with the Algerian National Service bureaucracy. Is peace of mind worth walking away entirely?

Post image
18 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I need to vent and hear your thoughts on this.

Back on October 14th, I made the exhausting trip from Chlef to Blida to submit my medical file at the National Service center. They registered me and told me to come back in 15 days.

Today (October 26th), I made the same grueling trip all over again. I arrived at the center early at 7:45 AM, stood in line for nearly four hours, and finally reached the counter at 11:40 AM. But when I handed over my file, the agent casually told me, "We only process medical files in the morning, and the time for them is over."

Just like that, after hours of standing and hundreds of kilometers traveled, all my effort was dismissed.

Living in Chlef and having to deal with this endless, soul-crushing back-and-forth travel has completely drained me. At this point, I’m seriously considering just walking away, forgetting the whole National Service file exists, and moving on with my life without that card.

For those who have been through this or similar bureaucratic nightmares: Is it worth fighting through this system, or is dropping it for my own mental peace the right move? What would you do in my shoes?

Travel Anyone down to start a hiking group in Algeria?

Hey guys, I was thinking about starting a group for people who enjoy hiking and trekking and want to explore more of Algeria together.
The idea is pretty simple: get people together, organize hikes, discover new places, and eventually plan camping trips and longer treks. Doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced hiker or just someone who enjoys being outdoors.
I’m also thinking of creating a Discord server so we can chat, share trails, plan trips, and organize everything more easily.
If you’re interested, drop a comment or DM me. If enough people are down, we can get this going and plan our first hike! 🌲

Education / Work I built a multi-agent AI system for automated research and report generation

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Instead of relying on one AI this system uses multiple AI agents working together to break down questions research different angles cross check sources and turn the findings into a structured report with visuals

The idea is to make complex research faster and less manual

Curious what people think Would you actually use something like this and what would you use it for?

Education / Work Struggling to make new friendships

Hey im 19F soon to be 20, third year medical student
I transferred to ziania last year from une annex and I can’t make any new friends here
Most of my friends rn are from middle/ high school end even from primary school and i lowk forgot how to make new friends
My first year of uni was pretty much good having my old friends from high school with me to hang out with them at uni made my year much better despite studying fi molha9a where les moyens d’étude were pretty much inexistants
And la gréve et tout but jazt 3la khir
Anyway last year I moved to ziania and i was expecting a lot especially الجو الدراسي and i was aiming for higher grades and better formation but what happened was the complete opposite
I suffered from a weird depression and feeling out of place I couldn’t interact with my new promo , especially that I don’t have any friends here and im the introvert type so i always rely to my friends whenever im expected to interact with any stranger , and lowkey feeling of inferiority because im the new girl makes it even worse
Anyway I couldn’t go to uni much i was always in my dorm room no friends no connaissances , without socializing or going to uni i felt more and more distant from my spécialité and my grades gone down hell i even pass to rattrapage for the first time in my life, ive never felt more sad and depressed in my whole life the stress killed me my skin and hair were even more affected by my situation and i even gained 15kg during my solitude
My first experience being far from my family and friends in new environment was hell
Im a third year now and I feel like this year will be the same
I want to save myself and the year i want to return to my old self
I have a big problem with making friends wich is that im really specific on what type of people to make my friends
They need to have similar interests and social and political opinions as me either way I can’t be myself with them and feel forced to pretend im like them and that drains my energy tbh
I want genuine advices ik some of will say that i can survive on my own and I don’t need friends but I literally need to bring joy to my life in order to have energy and passion for my studies
Friends are really important thing in my life and I didn’t realize that until last year
