I typed the passcode wrong in hopes of getting the the Reset End-to-end encrypted Data prompt but it prompted me with this

I have removed my old devices from Find My yet they still ask for the passcode for my old devices which I have forgotten

UPS lost my duo order on last Friday, launch date, and my replacement from Apple is at the back of the line and is set to arrive end of January 2027.

Hello friends. So I have a new iPhone 18 Pro Max, coming from a 12 Pro Max and I wanted to set up the new phone completely cleanly. That is, not setup the new one from a back but do a lot of stuff manually so that any old settings would not get transferred over. Yes, a little crazy, but it’s my choice, my time to waste.

So I realized that a few contacts were not in my iCloud account (saved in Google) and wanted to transfer them over and airdrop seems the most efficient way. However, the poster doesn’t transfer over. All other details do, but not the poster.
All info I find online is about sharing my own contact poster. Has anyone else seen this or have some ideas?

Apple Responds: “We are aware of an issue impacting the inner display on a small number of iPhone Duo units. If users experience issues with their iPhone Duo display, they should contact AppleCare for a replacement.”

More from Apple: Impacts a very small number of units and most iPhone Duo units are not susceptible to this inner display issue. Impacted devices appear to have the defects rather quickly after usage.

A few years ago, my first-gen iPhone SE stopped running Pokémon GO. Whenever I tapped the app it would immediately crash; on rare occasions it’d stay open for 2–3 minutes before quitting.

My mum gave me her old phone, which (despite a busted battery) at least runs the game. So I’ve been carrying two phones: one for daily use, and one I tether to via hotspot just to play Pokémon GO.

I upgraded to an iPhone 15 hoping to get back down to one device—but the app still crashes on launch, sometimes showing a “not compatible” error screen. I’m able to log into my profile on other iOS devices (iPads, other people’s iPhones.), so I’m wondering:
1. Is this an Apple ID / Game Center issue?
2. Can I reset Game Center or any settings on my Pokémon GO account to force a fresh install?
3. Does anyone know other troubleshooting steps for this exact problem?

I hate explaining why I carry two phones—it makes me look like a drug dealer! 😂 Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

So, I just bought M4 ipad with apple pencil pro and have trouble getting the double tap feature to work.
When I try to double tap to “switch between current tool and eraser” it just doesn’t work and what I notice is that when you have the “show tool palette” as your squeeze setting, on the first tap at an attempt to double tap it activates the squeeze feature which opens palette on my setting so on the second tap it just collapses the tool palette and can’t physically activate the double tap feature. The problem is that you only have show tool palette for squeeze and its not simply the matter of swapping the setting.
This is my first ipad and apple pencil device so i was wondering if anyone have the same problem and the work around this.

hi all, hopefully this is the correct subreddit but i am having issues restoring an old iphone. i have an old iphone 12 but the passcode is on it, i do not remember the passcode so i have been attempting to restore it to the factory settings.

i have searched through many apple help FAQ and cant seem to understand what’s going on. i connect it to my computer (macbook) and click restore and update. after the 60 minutes the screen turns back on to the lock screen with the passcode.

if anyone has any idea how to restore it that would be much appreciated! i’m not sure if maybe i need to do it on a different computer? any tips help, thank you!

My phone keeps sending messages when I am not touching or interacting with my phone. The messages say sent by Siri but I’m literally not even touching my phone. How does this happen. My automatically send messages toggle is off so it can’t be that. Does anyone know how to fix this. It’s sent the same message to 3 people now🥀

Ordered it brand new from TELUS in Canada, and it just arrived off the truck. Opened it up, can’t use it. Tried to connect it to my Mac, Windows, old iPhone, etc. I cannot get it out of recovery mode. I’m waiting on hold with Apple now… Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

I have 1.5K notes on my Notes app going back to 2014 taking up 26.5 GB on my iPhone. I want to remove all the notes that have not been edited in the past year from my iPhone and save them somewhere else, like a flash drive or my PC. I do not have a Mac or iPad. I want each note to retain the date it was created or last edited. Literally only 4 of these notes have photos in them (like 1-2 photos each). None of the notes have tables. The vast majority of them are purely unformatted text. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

hi i have watchos 8.8.2 or something and i used to be able to use Stepsapp on my apple watch and loved it but now it requires a higher update to download it and same with other apps (pedometer++, duffy, etc.) i am so lost because i just want to track my steps again 💔 any help would be appreciated

I have AppleCare One. I don't want AppleCare Family. But I cannot get rid of this ad.

I've enclosed a photo. It initially was also on my iPhone, but when I dismissed it on my phone, it gave me the option to not show me the notification again, and it hasn't come back.

On my 2 Macs, it is there and it just will not go away. I've tried clicking into EVERY device listed, and either selecting "back" and then "not now" or "cancel." Nothing works. Quitting settings doesn't work. Rebooting doesn't work. I expected the problem to resolve with macOS 27.2, but I just installed that and the notification is still there.

I tried calling Apple Support which was unhelpful. They said to update my device, which I told them I just did. They then said I should turn off my device for "11 minutes" and it should clear. It did not. They have heard this complaint and otherwise basically just said to wait and it will eventually? some time? go away.

I imagine logging out of iCloud and back in would work, but that's always such a destructive experience I don't want to do that.

Does anyone else see this persistent ad as well? Any tips on how to get rid of it? Thank you.

My iPad is new, it’s a iPad 9th generation I think (correct me if wrong).

I don’t use it excessively so I definitely haven’t worn the battery life or anything because I’ve probably used it 20 times at most since getting it which I use it for YouTube or Roblox.

It died the other night as I forgot to plug the charger in whilst using it and then I went to charge it the next morning.

In my head i believe when it’s not charging it shows a red bar and a lightning cable and when it is it just shows a red bar (if that’s what the symbols mean)

I went to plug it in and it showed just a red bar which shows battery low so I left my iPad for 2 hours charging and it wouldn’t turn on so I tried googling and it said their may be stuff in the charging port.

I got my brother to check for me and he said it looks clean and we cleaned it with a brush just to be sure and still no luck.

I’ve tried different cables and plugs and different sockets two and also at a different house.

I’m lost on what to do and I need my iPad to do my assignment which is due in a week.

Usually, when it dies it is normal and when charged will boot back up.

Yesterday it died and when charged would show the red battery logo thing. Have tried restarting with power button, different cables, etc.

One important detail, around 3 months ago the charging port did get damaged and still, only charges when cable is put in at at angle.

I have charged it overnight also.

Me ha pasado esto, para tener un antecedente yo cambié la batería de mi iPhone hace 3 meses en el Apple Store aquí en Barcelona España, en la Maquinista. Todo ha funcionado muy bien. Pero este fin de semana mientras estaba en casa el vidrio frontal de la pantalla de mi iPhone se ha quebrado de la nada haciendo rajaduras tipo telaraña 🕸️ en todo la pantalla. Así tal cual 🕸️. El teléfono no ha sufrido ninguna caída ese día ni el anterior. Lo que sí noté que la pantalla tiene un levantamiento como si algo la empujó desde el interior del iPhone y se ha despegado un poco el cristal del cuerpo del aluminio. No tengo rayas negras por píxeles muertos ni nada, eso solo el cristal que se ha rota así. Esta semana iré al Apple Store con la cita 📅 agendada. Que me recomiendan decirles ? Creen que me puedan reconocer que ha sido un fallo de la batería nueva cambiada? No tengo apple care. Alguien ha pasado por lo mismo?

Hey guys, today i got my new m5 pro macbook (first ever mac) and i noticed that the trackpad often wouldnt click on the first touch/pressure on both sides (left+right) the problem is only relatively on the edge, sometimes it clicks and reacts and the next it doesnt, normal pressure and angle. On the top and the bottom it feels normal and it reacts without any problems on the edge.

Are there any people who had similar problems, or am i just not used to it, but idk it kinda feels of for me because its only on the sides.

I am extremely irritated right now because iMessage will not activate there is people that can't even text me because of this. I've reached out to Apple support multiple times and the only thing they can tell me is that my iMessage account has been blocked or reported as spam and they just direct me to request to be unblocked here http://apple.co/IMFT-mac. I am really frustrated. This is going to be the third week that I have not been able to use iMessage and I don't know what to do because I have already filled out the survey like four times and I haven't gotten any word back on them so they were most likely denied.
