[NEW RULE] AI slop from now on will be an immediate and permanent ban
I'm so tired of lame ass shit like this being posted here. This is like the 5th time this week I've had to remove slop. So now, every time I see shit like this, I am immediately banning the loser who posts it.
There may be an occasional exception if the jerk is so legendary that it outweighs the slop, but you have ask yourself before posting if it's worth the risk.

A REAL CLASS ACT! Should the mlb have the rays and the brewers re-do this series just in case it was a big fluke?
Should the mlb have the rays and the brewers re-do this series just in case it was a big fluke?
No disrespect to the Brewers, I'm a firm believer that Milwaukee about to sweep them is a huge fluke and robs the Rays of truly accomplishing what they’re capable of. I've spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the Rays play great baseball it's just not fair. If the Rays lose again I will face that the Brewers deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Rays and the MLB.

Big if True What are the stats of this being called a strike????
I think I've watched enough baseball since 2016 to say that's not called a strike about 5 of 6 times but the stat said it's been called like %80 of the time?!
Why don't they implement a check swing system, like yesterday? They have the technology all they have to do is easily decide what's considered a go or not. The minor league standard tbh though is way too generous, I'd say what they're allowing IS called a strike 7 of 8 times.
This is why I hate baseball is Umps playing GOD. This one call changed everything, coulda tied the series 1-1 with that at-bat instead now they're F*'d down 3-0, they left deflated, and were too accepting and politically correct about it 'well just gotta play better next game' instead even alonso got potentially robbed of a home run over the foul pole this season and wasn't livid but at least spoke his mind despite what the PR team tells you as if to just stfu and never bite the hand that feeds you I guess it's what it is.

DEVIL HERNANDEZ Can we revisit the god-awful padres dads video "that's what's in"
As baseball season draws to an end, I found myself looking intently at the history of each franchise on wikipedia before I stop giving a shit completely about baseball for 5 months. While I was reading the history of the San Diego Padres I was shocked to see that no one mentioned the 2022 video before the NLCS. You know the one; a bunch of dudes who were discharged from the Navy but didn't have the courage to return to wherever they were from dispassionately rocking Padres gear bouncing asynchronously mumbling along to a quasi-popular rap song?
This thing haunts my nightmares. It's unlucky to be superstitious, but it seems clear that this gang of dudes who are a walking ad for low T sealed the fate of the Padres against the Phillies. Do you remember where you were when you first saw this tragedy?

What is with the ads tonight?
I'm usually really good about muting the TV as soon as the broadcast starts to transition but I was momentarily distracted and didn't mute.
Have the ads been this repulsive this whole time?
